Interesting too that the Republican Supreme Court in Texas might throw out votes from Dallas County, where Crockett is strongest. It’s like they want to make it harder for the Rs to hold the seat. And…if Crockett gets screwed by the ruling, her voters may still show up in November.

Another huge aspect of this is the last footnote of Kavanaugh’s concurring opinion: He appears to be repudiating, without expressly saying so, his prior concurring opinion which has led to “Kavanaugh stops.” He says they can’t be based on race or ethnicity.

They disapprove of the Ds in Congress, in general, for good reason. (Keep in mind that all Rs will disapprove, and younger Ds are fed up with the geriatric Ds.) But give them a choice between an actual flesh and blood D and a MAGA, and the D is going to win competitive races in this environment.
