Joe @joegamedev.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Something that didn't even occur to me when first starting work on my #Blender add-on is its utility in authoring armature and shape key-driven normal map changes. since you're sculpting directly onto the low poly model, you can freely pose it and sculpt on a new layer while it's in that pose 3262

Joe @joegamedev.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Currently I have it baking out curvature and AO. I can tinker with a heightmap export but it'll be tricky, as there's no actual height being operated on. Some brushes do localized height estimates from relative surface normal differences within a sample but that's the extent of "height" so far 030
