The book does a better job of keeping the killer’s identity a secret. I was genuinely surprised by the reveal. In the movie though, I feel like it’s super obvious and it loses a lot of the impact.

This is probably my favorite book I’ve read this year. Lots of slasher fun but I also really cared about the characters and wanted things to go well for them even if it was obvious it wasn’t going to go that way.
