An Iowa Congresswoman says the University of Iowa’s Center for Intellectual Freedom should be renamed after slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Pascual Pedro was deported earlier this week after being detained July 1 during a routine immigration check-in, according to Escucha Mi Voz, an immigration advocacy organization.

Iowa's federal delegation also introduced bills including a measure codifying Trump's order making English the U.S. official language.

"It's only going to get worse," the conservative attorney said.
