It's Pancake Day! And even though I grew up in Australia, this TV series was broadcast on the ABC, and this song stays rent free in my head: youtu.be/lS9J4vJ5K78?...

Behind every strong woman, there’s often a pooch following her to the toilet 😂 IYKYK This is my best pal Kiba. She turns 12 in April 🫣 and over the years has taught me the importance of play, being in the moment, and that we’re here for a lifetime not a long time. 🫶

A shout out to @todmaffin.com and his @todayindigital.com newsletter and podcast. There's always something in every issue that I find useful, and I absolutely love the news-style approach to the podcast (the intro always makes me think of the BBC 🙃). It's a fantastic resource for any marketer.

Another glorious morning. Something that you may not know about me is that in addition to running my own business I get up at 6am (and sometimes earlier) every day to do a cleaning job at a community centre. Today, after work, I treated myself with a breakfast by the beach. 🥰

I asked AI to analyse my tone of voice and style of writing, and its response made me chuckle...

a screen shot of text taken from an AI writing tool that states the tone of writing style is Casual, reflective, conversational, honest, relatable, introspective, authentic, and slightly self-deprecating.

I swear the ‘s’ key on my qwerty keyboard is my most used consonant. It’s always the one that seems to go first 🥴

Inbox Clear Up = 4k emails to Zero, and a multitude of unsubscribes. It’s all personal, as it’s unfair for me to be on newsletter lists I rarely/ never open. I’m messing up your stats. In saying that, I did re-subscribe to many using a different email address in an attempt to be better organised 😅

A really interesting take on the state of what has recently happened with those social media channels "...who must not be named" and morality: youtu.be/diHcpZvBjT0?...

Goals on track for 2025? 🚫 just ‘to do' lists. Intentional goal setting is about more than productivity—it’s about aligning your life with your values and priorities.

People often ask me why I still live in the UK when I grew up in sunny Queensland. Well it’s because of mornings like this. They don’t happen often but when they do, they are very special.

Saw this light hovering above the sea early this morning (around 2am). Thought it was a UAP... turns out it was a street light (didn't think they stayed on all night).

Until I watched this video, I'd never thought about doing 'lessons learned' for my own projects and client work. Seems like such a no-brainer! This is an opportunity I once missed, but now I've gained. Thank you Chet! youtu.be/ES4q_qC1AKw?...

Insult to injury with climate change: it’s the people who already are struggling who suffer more. Climate change is a disability issue. Climate change is a poverty issue. Climate change is an inequity issue. More people should have been saying this all along.

What does mindful/ conscious/ ethical marketing even mean? This afternoon I started to brainstorm and mapping out what mindful marketing and design means to me. Anything you’d add/ remove? #digitalmarketing #graphicdesign

10 months ago, I stopped posting on social media—exhausted by endless strategies, empty content, and AI-fuelled noise. This video gave me the 'aha!' moment I needed. It reminded me that what I truly seek is connection. Thank you @jackconte.bsky.social youtu.be/hwn6-8XpIuE?...
