Feeling happy that I'm a lazy gardener leaving dandelions seeding around the garden, as I spotted this handsome bullfinch and his friends hopping about eating them. #gardening #nature

Had such a lovely time reading this little book - A Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers. If you need to feel hopeful about humanity I would thoroughly recommend it! Any recommendations for what to read next? #Booksky #Solarpunk #Hopepunk

A book -A Psalm for The Wild Built by Becky Chambers, resting in the sunshine in long grass. The cover features a drawing of a robot with a butterfly, a long winding road with flowers and a non-binary monk with a cup of tea on a pedal wagon.

The chickens are enjoying being back on grass after a winter stuck on mulch. Their pen gets moved every day onto fresh grass. 🌱🐔 #gardening #chickens #permaculture #spring

I read that daffodils are beneficial to fruit trees in grasslands, they help to repel rabbits and suppress the grass next to the trunk, so I underplanted some last autumn and they are up! They'll look good in a few years time... #gardening #permaculture #orchard #daffoldils #springtime

She wore her yellow sun-bonnet, She wore her greenest gown; She turned to the south wind And curtsied up and down. She turned to the sunlight And shook her yellow head, And whispered to her neighbour: "Winter is dead." A.A Milne #ukgardening #gardening 🌱💚💐🌞

Celebrating a small victory today, frogspawn has appeared in our wee wildlife pond, had to wait a few years!💚🌱🐸 #gardening #ukgardening #ukwildlife
