Hell yeah! That’s a great piece! I’m currently reading the O’Neal and Cowan run. I met Denys at C2E2 last year and grabbed a commission.

Awesome!! Thank you. I’ll see you this afternoon. If you see Dan Mora’s booth number I could use it. The site map is not user friendly.

Do you have your booth location?

I will be attending. What is your booth number?

Phil, forgive my ignorance. What exactly are these for? You do them every year, and I enjoy them, but I am oblivious as to the reason. Your love of Kirby? Fundraising for a cause? Paying off a debt to some dark lord? Inquiring minds want to know.

…couple of attempts have been lacking. Tom proceeded to tell me he had already seen it & it would be worth it. I watched it today. Tom couldn’t have been more right. Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Thank you Tom and Mitch (Mitch for being there & being an all around cool guy).

I am at C2E2 & meeting @tomking.bsky.social and @mitchgerads.bsky.social Tom asks if I’m looking forward to seeing Superman. My response was less than enthusiastic. He asked why I answered that way. The guy next to me, “Yeah, why’d you say it like that?”. Superman isn’t dark & brooding. The last…

Hell yeah. I watched it 3 times in the theater in the summer of ‘89. Received the VHS that Christmas. Wore it out.

3 times in as many weeks I have reached out to 3 different comic art dealers, and I have received no response. I guess they don’t need/want the money. #comics #originalart #comicart

Nice! I ordered a signed copy. I met Chip at C2E2 last year and got a sketch. He’s a fun guy to talk to.

Last C2E2 post. Friday was a blast. Met a bunch of cool artists and writers. The biggest surprise was meeting Dan Mora. He wasn’t posted to attend and I happened to recognize him. I was able to get on his sketch list and blown away by the results. He and his team were incredibly kind. Read Comics!

When I found out Denys Cowan was going to be at C2E2 I jumped at the chance for a commission. What I wasn’t prepared for was his generous nature & his ability to make me feel seen. He seemed genuinely appreciative and was very engaging. A Legendary artist. Read Comics!

Attended C2E2 yesterday. I managed to meet @tomking.bsky.social and @mitchgerads.bsky.social and it was awesome. They bantered back and forth the whole time and were very engaging. Later I managed to run into them while I was walking around and grabbed a photo. Great dudes! Buy comics!

@alexsegura.bsky.social I just read The Question, All Along the Watchtower, and I am curious for where the idea for the “shotgun” came from. Great first issue!
