Took my then 7 year old daughter to N vs UCLA in 2019. First two sets we watched the match. Last set was for chasing down Lil Red for a photo. Success! 7 years later, she is keeping track of how many days until she becomes a student and she can tell me future vball commitments.

Rooting for MEX tonight. Rare occurrence. As a Nebraska alum, they used to be like Texas where I refuse to cheer for them in anything. Now they are like Iowa. I don’t like them, but respect them and want them to rep the conference well. Will still have perversive joy if they lose painfully though.

Soccer in the USA is mainstream. MLS is not. Those are 2 different statements. Media needs to stop conflating the two MLS will have a bump, but still not be mainstream. Soccer in general will continue to rise overall. It’s just consumed from many more leagues/national teams than other main sports

Houston is not filled with as many “Texans” as people think. I great thing about this city. It’s definitely a “live there” and not “vacation” city. A good think about Houston roads and traffic, is when we aren’t in a traffic jam, we are all going 80+ mph.

My neighbor in TX saw the same car would use her (and also my driveway) to turnaround around 3:00 AM many mornings from her security camera. She let me know how concerned we should be and put barricades up in her driveway. I didn’t care. Turned out driver was delivery medical supplies.
