Tucker Carlson has suggested that we should have sided with the germans in WWII.

This is fun. Kennedy was caught using AI to write that paper about Autism. Some of the references include OAICite, which stands for Open AI Citation. College students get booted for AI use. He needs to get the boot for this too.

Now 3 dead in the Measles outbreak. 2 children in Texas and 1 adult in New Mexico. This is entirely the fault of antivaxers - including RFK.

I wonder if the Republicans realize that they own the disaster that is building, including *all* the deaths that could have been prevented by vaccination and the recession.

My wife had a patient with what she believes to be monkeypox in her clinic yesterday.

We were then told we had to write out the project on each line. So we all did - except for the last half hour where we wrote "filling out this form". This form was cancelled shortly after. This seems to be what musk is asking all federal employees to do.

I remember having to write down what project I was working on for the week in 5 minute increments. The first week we all just wrote the name of the project at the top of each column and had " underneath all the way down the page. More on the next message.

I wonder if Trump thinks that by not placing his hand on the Bible that he wasn't really taking the oath of office. But if he didn't really take the oath of office, should he really be in office?

BOOM! Bishop Mariann Budde has responded to her critics who told her to apologize to Donald Trump. “I am not going to apologize for asking for mercy for others.” Smash that repost if you agree she owes Trump ZERO apologies!! 🦋

zuck is only removing fact checking from the US market. This is a clear attempt to curry favor with the right wing liars coming into power.

It's probably time for someone to start working on protest music. But, please, someone that can sing.

Facebook is removing fact checking. Will it descend into the same kind of chaos that Twitter did?

My mother lived through the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands and sees many similarities between that and the incoming administration. History may not repeat, but it often rhymes.

If those of us on the left are woke, does that make those on the right asleep or sleepwalking?

Adam Schiff: “The American people wanted something done about crime, not to see Trump pardon the criminals who attacked the Capitol.” Repost this if you agree January 6 traitors should serve their FULL prison terms.

Prior authorizations are completely out of control. One health insurance company required a prior authorization for doxycycline (about $7 for a course).

One item my wife has recently found infuriating. Health insurance companies no longer deem a prescription a doctor's order. She had a prescription for one of her patients denied. The excuse? We need a doctor's order. My wife is a board certified Infectious Diseases MD.

Prior authorization and coverage denials need to be treated as the practice of medicine and since the health insurance companies don't have licenses, cuts time to start jailing everyone in those companies.

One of my wife's patients just successfully finished a 6 month prior authorization battle to receive a drug that will keep her out of hospital. The drug costs about $1000 per month. 5 hospital stays at $50,000+ each during that 6 months. Prior authorization drives up costs.

My wife is a board certified infectious diseases doctor. Who is denying her prescriptions for antivirals and antibiotics? Veterinarian s. Oncologists (cancer), dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and highschool dropouts.

I'm glad to see that Agile programming is dying. It never made much sense.

The second is hours per patient spend on prior authorization and denials. The third is non doctor doctors (nurse practitioners and physician assistants that call themselves doctors).

My wife is a doctor. There are three main problems she sees. Electronic Medical Records are SLOW for chart updates. A paper chart takes about 5 minutes to update. An EMR takes half an hour to an hour for a real update. Closing the chart as fast as possible without any med. info. Abt 10 mins.
