Although my research has been primarily epidemiological, I see #multimorbidity not as just another condition to measure, but a paradigm shift to how we conduct research & organise health care. People living with multiple long-term conditions (or #MLTCs) don't experience them one-at-a-time

As a brief intro, I'm a Respiratory Medicine registrar in the East of Scotland, & have been undertaking a PhD in Multimorbidity in Malawi over the last three years, with @uofgshw.bsky.social. #Multimorbidity is the norm in my clinical practice, but it is an increasing problem in #globalhealth
