We went on a school trip to the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool when I was 8 or 9 and I couldn’t believe anyone was this large. Somewhere, there’s my colouring-in version. But the fact I remember it 50 years on is testament to the power of art - and the importance of making it accessible to kids.
