I have crohns. The medicine prices are outlandish. Can't afford. I need to get meds by infusion or nurse comes to give me a shot. Neither method falls under Part D. Have a supplement ($300/mo) that keeps down costs in part A and B.

Husband I lived on a rural dirt road. We sometimes found abandoned puppies. Between us, we started with 3 dogs and 2 cats. Over 20 years we took in 8 dogs and 1 cat, but never more than 6 dogs at home at a time. Luckily had large fenced yard and a couple acres for walks.

I feel your pain. I have crohns. Colonoscopy every 2-4 years for the last 40 years. The prep NEVER gets better. Originally there was no sesation.

The worst for me is the Medicare D, for prescriptions. The original donut hole setup was unbelievably bad. The Democrats started a $2000 limit on oop. I have crohns. Medicine is criminally expensive. (Without ins, each monthly dose over $10k) Trump removed the limit, to put us back at donut hole.

Prices have gone up on everything; not just gas and groceries. The shipping costs are up because of diesel. So everything shipped to a seller is more expensive.

I am old enough that I had colonoscopies without sedation. Uncomfortable, but not that bad. I think the sedation is for the doctors so that patients stay still for the longer procedure.

Agree. I can afford a supplement, but many can't. (Have crohns; ended up 5 surgeries in 5 years. Only cost was supplement monthly.)

Are you on Medicare Advantage or Medicare part D? They are very different. Use Medicare.gov to find the policy that would provide the needed medicine.

I have Xfinity and subscribe to Disney w Hulu. Started having a problem with ads freezing. Never got corrected. A rep set me up to direct access Hulu, which had no ad problem. Finally decided to up Disney subscription to no adds. If problem is back, will cancel Disney and subscribe directly w Hulu.

As of a year ago, the Center had $500m in assets and the Bug Beautiful Bill allocated $237m for the center. If the money has 'disappeared' then the Center's board would have to close down and a new fiduciary council would be appointed by judges.

After surgery I was due to come home on a Saturday. Husband had seen his doctor on Thursday for a cold. Put on antibiotics. Friend told me need to wait 3 days before around him. I checked with his doctor; who said Saturday fine. Friend told husband to wait anyway. Furious. Husband got me Sat.

I'm 70. Have had, loved and lost a dozen dogs and 2 cats. All shelter or rescue. Losing even one is hard. But I always get another; for them and me.
