As a native Texan living in Texas, with few exceptions, I find Texans insufferable. My native Texan husband wants to move to Belize-he’s retired, I’m still working. We have our soon-to-be-married daughter and elderly parents here, so can’t leave yet. I hope in the midterms, Talarico all the way!

I am a CPA not a doctor, but my mom has Alzheimer’s - after she took her 1st dementia test, they did an MRI to confirm, as much as they can. It is not perfect, but MRIs are not administered as routine tests. I was with her for another dementia test and nobody without dementia would consider it hard.

I live in TX-native born. I can’t leave-my job is here, my daughter is here, my elderly parents are here-so by default my money supports the Texas economy. But since the election, I refuse to spend my discretionary vacation $ in any other red state, especially Florida (and we used to go 2x/year)
