Caught myself spinning over this today. Instead of texting her, I took a walk to the State Capitol, up to Ramsey Hill, then all the way up to the High Bridge. Hopefully by the time I’m home I get it out of my system. She’s so cool.

I’ve been revisiting the first OXES LP recently. It’s hard to understate what an influence this record was on my later approach to playing drums.

Picture of the first self-titled or untitled - who knows, it goes by a lot of different names now, but there is no title on the cover or spine - album by OXES out of Baltimore. It is sitting upright on my media shelf and reflecting the light of all of my windows.

Found a DVD of mine with no label. Opened it up and saw "STNNNG - Dignified Sissy" handwritten on the DVD. Turns out it was from our record release show in the 7th St. Entry on April 9, 2005. I ripped it and put it up on YouTube for your viewing pleasure. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL8S...
