I was an over-prescribed abx sick child so I’m familiar w/ resistance but currently I have bacteria that hardly anything will treat. I have a consult about surgery next month so I may have to ride this thing out. Doc was hesistant to give me Cipro… this particular one is scary.

Welp, I’ve had the unfortunate experience of learning firsthand about ciprofloxacin…I decided to stop taking these antibiotics mid-course when my foot came on fire and I could barely walk a slow and mindful 10 minutes today 😮‍💨 It’s not fun being a medical guinea pig. #chronicillness

I was sent to speech therapy for southern Appalachian twang and forced to speak “correct American English” in the 90s so that I could be taken serious and make it to college. Took a long while to untrain myself…

With a solid record of 10 months chronic fatigue, recurrent “colds”, swollen tonsils, chronic allergies, daily aches/pains, antihistamines helping symptoms but not the problem, NSAIDs helping when they don’t mess up my stomach, periodontal disease despite good oral hygiene… Something is up! 😒

I appreciate that suggestion & your feedback. I’ve been writing for 20+ years now w/ a few different platforms but have yet to find a structure or platform that sticks. I tried Medium last year & wasn’t impressed. All I know of Substack is you have to bring your own followers, which is a struggle.

Best of luck! I really love the Platinum Carbon but it is a thicker ink. I’ve tried for about 2 years with 2 different LAMY Safari (both medium and fine nibs) and no matter what I do, the nib dries at lightning speed. But the cheap Ooly? Stays strong, rarely dries. Pleasant surprise! 🖊️

I have found incredible consistency with the Ooly Splendid, a converter, and Platinum carbon black. Super economical approach that has worked without issues for me for a couple years now 😊
