Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 18/11/2025A few years ago, every vacant lot in Taos had yellow wildflowers growing. Click on the image for full view of Taos Mtn. in the background looming over field and house in Taos. 4584

Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 12/08/2025Painted 15 years ago on vintage medicine cabinet with sliding doors. Inside is another view of same scene. I call these pieces "Story Boxes" because the exterior & interior paintings can tell a story to be determined by the individual viewer. "Abiquiu Lake." Figures on left are angels/separate 0271

Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 12/08/2025Hollyhocks as viewed by a 4-5 year sitting on the ground peering through the tall flowers. A more pacific view and scene are in the background. As a child I spent many hours sitting under large fuchsia shrubs. 0434
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 12/08/2025One of my favorite Chaim Soutine paintings. Please check out my next two paintings, and I believe you will see a similarity and heritage. 0180
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 12/08/2025A painting done about 10 years ago of a hillside at Taos Land Trust. I reworked the sky in 2025 to make it more in line with the dynamic of the trees and foreground hillside field. This painting is the sibling of the next painting and would like to be adopted together. 1423
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 12/08/20252025 painting at Taos Land Trust, depicting movement by mixing painting on the canvas (wet-into-wet paint) and free strokes. I like Chaim Soutine landscapes. 0241
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 12/08/202548" by 30" painting of hillside on Hwy 17 in Colorado. Please compare to the smaller paintings of the same hill. I am more free with the large work, and I enjoy painting that way. 0181
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 12/08/2025A series of small paintings of a hillside on Hwy 17. I have a VERY difficult time painting small work because of a lifelong hand tremor which has a mind/will of its own. 0192
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 12/08/2025Two more small paintings of hillside on Hwy 17 Colorado. Small paintings are VERY difficult for me because I have a life long tremor with a will of its own. 080
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 07/08/2025Abstract based on New Mexico landscape. I am a fan of Etel Adnan and I was thinking of her work as I did these. 2025 0202

Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 16/05/2025A 20 year old painting of mine. I get a jolt of pleasure to see that even in dark forest of Douglas fur, I saw and painted shapes. There are really only 4 major shapes ,and they communicate a lot. So glad I re-discovered this painting in a photograph. 0261
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 16/05/2025I think this may be a painting soon. I love the repetition of the shape of the dark gully in the foreground and a similar check mark shape in the clouds. I will emphasize the similarity and repetition. And, oh, the Pedernal in the background. 0160
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 14/05/2025Recent rains have sculpted the red earth laid down millions of years ago. Near #GhostRanch in NM. Georgia O'Keeffe's house on the Ghost Ranch is nearby. She walked the tops of these red cliffs with her dogs, seeing the Pedernal and Lake Abiquiu 0220

Reposted by Jeanine Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 08/05/2025Today I drove to the #Abiuqiu #NewMexico area to relax. We have had 3 days of rain, heavy in places. I forgot that there may be MUD on the side of the road when I pulled off to take a photo of the #Pedernal. I also forgot I had 4 wheel drive. A Marine in a truck with a chain pulled me out. 0232
Jeanine @jmb3.bsky.social · 09/05/2025A painting that has a positive vibe --I think. View out over Ranchos de Taos in the Fall. It has rich soil and was/is ranch land over the decades. 0294
