The trans population is approximately the same percentage as the Jewish population of Germany. It’s important, when you pick a group to heap excess scorn on, that they are few enough in number that they are more of abstract concept to most people than actual humans they have interacted with.

Trans people are more or less the same percentage of the population as Jews were in Germany in 1933. Musk, the Nazi, is one of the architects and engines of a movement that has villainized a tiny and innocent sliver of the population and made it the scapegoat for the downfall of society.

As long as I don’t think about the climate change implications, I can say that it’s nice to sit on the back porch and do my work without even a sweater on October 1 while a hermit thrush, taking a break from its migration south, wanders around foraging.

Hermit thrush, who visits the garden twice a year during migrations. I wonder if it’s the same bird every time?

Disgusting. But please note that Jewish law does not in any way countenance vigilante justice. There is no actual Jewish law, read with sincerity and in light of rabbinical tradition, that could be used as a justification for violence against Lewis. So let’s not suggest that there is.

Trump’s biggest superpower that everyone wants to get him on camera. In the 2016 election, that meant he got millions of dollars of free coverage by networks just running his rallies in full on TV. It’s equally true that his lies seem to mean nothing to the media, as long as he’s entertaining.

We know this is true because of UK study where drivers intending to buy larger, more lethal vehicles were shown stats about the death rates caused by these new enormous vehicles, but said they would not change their purchase plans even now that they knew.

I’m listening to @bigjoel.bsky.social read from Mr. Beast’s “novel.” It’s absolutely reprehensible: a contest with life and death stakes to find THE ONE PERSON able to save our damaged world. They will be given $1 billion to spend. Beast doesn’t get that cooperation, not competition will save us.
