Ditto. I first saw it when I met up with my Uncle Alex in London (he had moved down there from a mining town in Scotland as a young man). We went to the National Gallery and he asked me if I could pick out his favourite painting in the collection and when I saw this I knew this was it. It’s amazing

What a wonderful piece of writing. I especially love the view that a lot of those one hit bands, who are viewed as coat-tail grabbers in movements like grunge, are peopled by guys who just wanted to create their way out of deadbeat towns or terrible lives. And fair play to them.

So T****’s tariffs are based on the US having a huge trade deficit with other countries-the US buys more from them than they buy from the US How much of that is because that the US just buys loads more stuff than anyone else and they have to buy from abroad just to meet demand?
