The electrician refused to sign off on the new kitchen because of the rest of the house. When the work was being done, we found him photographing one hanging wire to add to his “wall of death“. Worth every penny.

We had our house re-wired in 2010 because of major refurbishments, but only because there was a live wire in the middle of a chimney breast which tripped the fuses when some plaster was flicked at it, and we discovered the top floor was not a ring circuit, just a large extension lead.

Basic Netflix is just unwatchable now, it has so many ads. It's like streaming has forgotten where it came in: American TV was unwatchable amounts of ads.
