Had a very good time playing the Boulderdash zine launch yesterday. It’s good when people make something new and unusual and then invite other people to do things with them.

My friend sent me a link to a podcast that is critiquing a man called destruction as a sort of depressing nadir. I hate it when people don’t get what’s good about Alex Chilton.

Gunter Brus died. That’s all the actionists now is it? They all got a pretty good innings apart from Scwarzkogler. I wonder what might have been….

First sale, first recommendation: a collection of lost tracks by Bzdet. Lo-fi, scummy, bedroom garage, probably recorded in 15 minutes to a half-broken tape recorder. bzdet.bandcamp.com/album/unrele...

Today we start the next round of the POST- ensemble. Second year undergrads only this time, mostly people who’ve not done it before. I think this will be our least tonal iteration to date….

I don't really know how this place works yet, but if you see this and maybe wonder who I am, I make music and my latest release is on Krautpop! records and it's a shoegazy sort of concept album about Cornish sites of folklore. it's here: krautpop.bandcamp.com/album/brytho...
