On the plus side, your lawn still looks like it’s flat and unbroken. I don’t understand how mine can dry out AND heave up and crack at the same time. Shouldn’t things shrink when you remove the water ? The first crack is a foot long and 8 inches deep, and the line extends about 8ft across the “lawn”

It’s taken ages to prepare my Dahlia tubers for winter storage. Down to the last set at last. 4 x Thomas Edison. I started with 3 last year, split off 3, gave way 2, at the start of this year and may have to split off 2 more next year.

This is what they looked like towards the end of the season - the purple flowers at the front, it was a group of three. Some of the growth was about 5' (150cm) tall.

Cleaning up the dahlia tubers. The brown bag held 3 of these when we bought them. I don’t think I could even get one back in - and that’s after just one year.
