Hypothetically, a new comer to boc would hear this and rightly ask themselves, how the hell is this just a bonus track?

Sometimes I can have such a lousy taste in pop music that if you ask me what’s my favorite Bowie song, I would tell you it’s easily “Dead Man Walking”

By chance because I caught it on cable, just saw the last ten minutes of Michael Mann’s Heat, on mute, while “Musique pour le lever du jour” was playing on the background. Weirdly fitting and beautiful

Pleasantly surprised by 28 Years Later. Maybe I was wrong to expect full post apocalyptic gloom and normal v/s crazy cult type of plot, while instead I got viral TikTok humor and heavy family drama. There was still some Godspeed You Black Emperor

Finished work today, battling a flu, in bed now waiting for that re9 announce later on, and listening to this beauty of an album by Laurie Torres. A perfect companion to Endlessness from last year. Listening both back to back, highly recommended

One of the good things about the year passing by light fast is that the Alien tv series is around the corner. I have some faith in Noah Hawley because of Fargo and Legion being very okish 🤞🏼

Every once in a while I come back to this Chris Brokaw song due to its solid chord progression and melancholic vibe. Never figured out exactly what it’s about because some of the lyrics are pretty abstract, but overall it feels like a sweet self soothing tune, good to have around in low times

Very good Beat concert last night in Santiago. I had a blast and loved seeing Belew and Levin clearly having a great time playing. A highlight was Industry, an absolutely killer rendition. Keeping the mechanical and ominous vibe of the original but upgraded to a even more surreal and lush sound

I went to see Sinners tonight and yep, very very good. Left the theater elated. I’m still thinking about some scenes, how they decided to tell the story through very unconventional means (for a Hollywood movie that is). I would definitely go see it again

Extremely (pun intended) happy that by accident I found one of my favorite all time albums in cd, In Extremis by Thinking Plague. I might have got this one around 1999, probably direct from Cuneiform, and it’s in very good shape

I can’t get out this tune out of my head these days. Very ethereal but it evokes a strange sense akin to a pyrrhic victory. Like the tune you would hear in your head after getting out of a hardship but with nothing important gained to yourself. Things are just meh now 🙄

Copano and Harrington. This is one of the best character intro i’ve seen in a while. Perfect because you immediately know who they are where they can go as characters. The development so far, from two useful idiots to being the best shadow allies Marshall has for his cause, is totally consistent
