iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

With this many smart and generous people in the room, I'm certain the MVP program will keep evolving and stay relevant for many years to come.

I've been renewed for a 10th time as a Microsoft #MVP! I'm grateful to still be part of this technical community, where I've met and learned from so many people I now count as friends. AI is challenging a lot of what we do, but that's also why communities like this one matter... #MVPbuzz

Got it, this more of a single threaded model perf problem, got it. Actual multi-threading would help, but that’s not present on Blazor yet. Still, with a bit of AOT or jiterpreter, is it still a problem?

Interesting! Not sure why web workers would help but do you have an issue for it?

It's a wrap! We've been working on these features for quite a while, and being able to demo them is liberating! Uno MCPs are going to be evolving a lot in the future, considering the scenarios enabled by their presence. Imagination is becoming more and more the limit!

This is a big release! We've been hard at work for building those new AI integrations, and it's supercharging the dev cycle for uno apps. AI Agents have made a LOT of progress in the past months and we're eager to see what you will do with our MCPs! Let us know what you think! #dotnetconf

Restore consistently slow for me, which seems to points to I/O perf of those agents.

Jérôme Laban @jlaban.bsky.social · 18/10/2025

The windows agents have been lagging in specs for quite a while… but there’s the sharing aspect that can make those measurements quite unreliable. Which part of the build is taking longer in your screenshot?

New release of MSBuild Structured Log Viewer. New dark theme which should be much faster (don't laugh). Turns out the old dark theme we used (AdonisUI) messed with the tree view virtualization, so we saw significant slowdowns in tree layout.

The VS team has been super responsive lately, particularly on WSL issues. We were battling with the "first-tfm-wins" kind of issues that prevented WSL from starting in #unoplatform projects. There's a new project cap that works without tricks in 17.13 Previews! Thanks! #dotnet

@madskristensen.net would you know if there are docs for extension authors on how to troubleshoot VS messages like "VS stopped responding, disabling the extension XXX might help"? I know you receive telemetry on this, but is there something we can do externally? Thanks!
