Lovely week at #ecpr2026 in Kraków ☀️ Got to present PhD work on two possible extensions to Dovi’s Good Representative and co-authored work on the ‘Square’ with @luke-shuttleworth.bsky.social to some wonderful colleagues. Fantastic conference keynote by Prof Gwiazda (King's and QUALREP represent! 🙌🏻).

Great to present my research at #ECPG2026 in Newcastle alongside QUALREP colleagues @robindevroe.bsky.social and Sofia Oliveira. Really enjoyed how all papers in the panel highlighted different nuances of democratic governance beyond electoral representation 💡

Co-organised a conference with the Centre for British Democracy at King’s and spent the day with friends and experts in the field, thinking about how we can overcome the representation/participation divide. Keynote by none other than Professor Michael Saward himself. Thank you to all who joined! 🤗

Well, that was fun! We organised the second Graduate Conference on Political Theory last week and it was such a great day. Thank you to all panellists, the senior academics who helped by chairing panels, and to Dr Bernardo Zacka for a most creative and engaging keynote! @kingspoltheory.bsky.social

Had a great time at #PSA2026 in Oxford! Grateful to @psa-race.bsky.social for the opportunity to present some PhD findings on how young adult women with lived experience of care and the UK criminal justice system experience, define, and negotiate their political representation.

Grateful for the opportunity to make my academic presentation debut at #PSA2025 in Birmingham 🤗 on a fantastic @psawomenpol.bsky.social panel on gender and care. I presented some early findings from my PhD on the QUALREP Project, led by @profrosiecamp.bsky.social and @profsarahchilds.bsky.social.
Jana is standing on the left side of the panel stage presenting her paper on the political representation of women in prison in the UK. The panel chair and the three other panellists are sitting on a long table beneath the big screen on the right.
