I love my cat but he has been annoying the shit out of me today. I was sitting in my recliner, trying to read, and he kept jumping up on and down from my lap every 2 minutes. I gave him his second feeding and he didn't stop. It makes it impossible to focus on my book when he is like that.

Had a very intense dream about my parents fighting to keep and expand their business, a business that was sold over 20 years ago. And it wasn’t like there was some big battle to keep it in reality; it ended with a whimper and they didn’t have the funds to upgrade the fire-suppression system.

I'm debating getting a Schecter 12-string guitar since I was approved for financing. The payments shouldn't affect my budget too much. I've wanted to get an electric 12-string again for years. Still not sure if this is a good idea or not.

I'm becoming obsessed with AITA reactions, specifically from Charlotte Dobre, and bad manager reactions from George Stern Leadership (I see both on FB reels). I think it's because I (luckily) don't have drama in my life and I find it entertaining to listen to stories about messy situations.

Tubi has Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far from Home right now. I'm rewatching Homecoming right now, although Far from Home is my favorite of these movies (I still have to see Brand New Day). I really like Tom Holland as Spider-Man and I still enjoy the MCU for the most part.

Just watched Mad God, directed by Phil Tippett, which is an amazing work of (mostly) stop-motion animation. My only criticism is that it doesn't have a story as such exactly.

I was disturbed when my mother said "she shouldn't have drunk so much" and "she shouldn't have gone to that party alone" (I don't know if either is true), and she backpedalled quickly when I called her out on it. But she doubled down saying you wouldn't put yourself at risk by walking at night.

I'm watching Cops and it always blows my mind that police automatically equate nervousness with evidence of wrongdoing. Why wouldn't you be nervous if stopped by a cop? What kind of person would feel like that is totally routine or an occasion to be relaxed? Why don't cops get this?

I discovered a 12-string electric guitar on Musician's Friend. It has single coil pickups (which I don't like due to the hum) but other than that, I'd like to get it. Unfortunately, it's not in my budget so I might have to let this go by. ☹️ I'd really like to get it though.

When I was looking at glasses frames yesterday, I discovered that I'm grayer on the top of my head than I realized. My bathroom mirror has lights on either side, but it's not terribly bright, so I never noticed that before. I have known for a long time that my hair is gray in the back on the sides.
