Jeff Kloosterman @jkloo.bsky.social · 20/08/2026The 0.5x multiplier is an elegant solution to allowing LSS to print powerful and exciting heroes, mitigating the impact the “new and shiny” effect has on a hero’s logevity. Anything else LSS does to mitigate this would either be more complex or perpetuate problems of weak hero design on release. 040

My out was to shock myself in response to go to 1 so I could AP to get to 5 and live at 1 again, but his last card was twining so the dampen killed me. 10/10 game though for sure 😂 010

Next is to build up some settings screen UI for managing hero art prefs and a way to override your opponent's art on the game / builder screen. I want to get this in before Usurp :) #fabtcg 091

Jeff Kloosterman @jkloo.bsky.social · 12/08/2026IMO MPG suffers from trying to expand the core mechanics base of guardian (slamming mill cards in) instead of spending those cards on investing in existing mechanics (which they did a little for crush and heave but those cards have the downside of being bad). 110
