The number of reports of whistleblower retaliation has increased - this doesn't necessarily mean that retaliation is on the rise - it's always been high. Our analysis shows that the best way to prevent retaliation is to make sure staff are aware of external supports such as www.speakup.ie

Terrifying. Makes you also wonder how this will impact international cooperation on corruption and organised crime. Will the DoJ be used to target foreign officials who don't 'play ball' with Trump? They have extraterritorial powers to make life very difficult for more than just the 'enemy within'.
