Diving into the wild world of OCs. Meet Tessa Erlowyne, who started out as a concept for an artificer I might play next time I'm in a DnD game, she's grown into something a bit bigger than that while I've been thinking about her and drawing this. Some notes about her in ALT #art #digitalart #oc

She lost her eye in a past incident, and later replaced it with a magitek device. She's been tinkering with adding different kinds of sight functions to it. She also doesn't like to talk about what happened to lose her eye in the first place.

She's young by elf standards, and going through a bit of a "teenage rebellion" phase against her super conservative archwizard father. He most definitely does NOT approve.

I think while she acts really cocky, snarky, and sure of herself, that's a front put up to mask the fact she doesn't think very highly of anything she's managed to do. While growing up she was taught how to do magic under the tutelage of her father, and a string of repeat failures pretty much destroyed her confidence. Despite the Erlowyne lineage containing accomplished wizards dating back millennia, it didn't feel like Tessa was going to be one of them.

Whether Tessa was put under too much pressure to succeed, or if she actually can't do magic at all despite her heritage, is unclear. And at this point trying to cast even a basic spell would probably give her nightmare flashbacks to her childhood.

A little while back a Touhou music server I was on was looking for a new icon, so I took a stab at making an SD-90 gijinka for them to use. Everyone loved it, one member wrote up a profile, and I took their writing and made this. #art #digitalart #oc #touhou

A Megumu piece I did for a friend, and to also play around some more with lighting and dynamic posing. I probably could have put even more stars and lasers in the background. #art #digitalart #fanart #touhou

Sunny Milk, Luna Child, and Star Sapphire re-imagined as the classic Warrior, Mage, Rogue trio. Because I felt like drawing them like this. Sunny's probably still my favorite shading I've ever done, given I hadn't shaded armor before. #art #digitalart #fanart #touhou

So I re-imagined the Three Fairies of Light as the classic Warrior, Rogue, Mage trio. Because that sounded fun. And then I thought "what's something cocky for them to try and do?" So now they're fighting a dragon. As you do. #art #touhou #digitalart #fanart

A drawing I did a while back, after making a comment on a walfas comic I saw that Patchouli needs a shirt that says "Asthmatic Magician: if you see me running, try and keep up." #art #touhou

A digital drawing of a purple-haired lady stands, sporting a stern expression. She is wearing a red skirt and a black t-shirt with the phrase "Asthmatic Magician If you see me running Try to keep up" printed on. She is holding a coffee mug with "#1 Magician" printed on it.
