This won't be the last of the Necroconstructs we see. The depraved Necromancer is going to be running amok during most of October, at least on Mondays.

I tried to cover a little too much ground in this first article and wandered into my own personal gaming history. Some of it, anyway. My plan is to get back to talking about the good, the bad, and the fun of fantasy games. Yes, there will be some digs on Wizards of the Coast official D&D, but also lots of postive shares and things people might have overlooked. This is where we go to have more fun with TTRPGs.

Some trepidations about yesterday's article, but I'm coping so far.

I really used to enjoy World of Warcraft. What would it have been like in 1985? Imagine it coming out on a cartridge like Final Fantasy did.

After some careful consideration, I've decided to start over from about Day 5 of my blogging journey. I remember back when I was still young and enthusiastic about the hobby, industry, and YouTube.

YouTube dropped a major turd in the breakfast cereal of small channels on August 10th. I'm beyond mad. What they did especially hurts creators in the TTRPG niche under 1,000 subs.

#RPGaDay2026 is upon us. This year we're making characters. While I don't plan to do full NPC stat blocks or full PC characters, I'm going to work on at least a name and a description that goes with each. Did I miss 2025 completely? Dang.

My good friend, The OG GM has hit a new milestone with Vigilantes for Shadowdark 2. I'm striving to reach similar heights with my next Dragonbane releases. Congratulations, OG!

Most of the cats I've ever met are incredibly fearful of the vacuum cleaner for whatever strange reason. One of our kittens, Thunder, was the inspiration for this Monday's monster.

Normally I try to publish on or around the 19th, but we got a little sidetracked. A rather nasty storm knocked not one, but two really huge branches down in our yard. THe strangest thing was they were on separate trees. As a result we're losing both trees. Trees aside, this article went through several revsions and actually turned into about four different articles to come in following days.

I'm taking the next four or five weeks off of social media save people trying to get in touch, which they most likely won't be if they're going to Gen Con. Mostly I'm just tired and need a break.

Our peaceful night's slumber was interrupted when this massive thing fell out of the sky on one of the horses. Before we knew what was going on, one of the torch bearers, I think his name was Herbie, got carried off into the night, never to be seen again. This was only one of these things! Yikes!

This is version 3.5. Feel fortunate because Version 1 was a full length manifesto that would have gotten me in all kinds of hot water with the TTRPG crowd.
