I can’t believe I finally got my giant pinata down to DC only AFTER Trump tries to make Jimmy Kimmel stop telling jokes #WAAM @jimmykimmel.com

The nice part of #WAAM is how many churches have helped the marchers along the way. I may not agree with them on matters of religion, but I do respect this kind of message of acceptance. 🥰

On this Constitution Day we call on our members of Congress to do their job and hold Trump accountable.

Children should not be doing this. It is disgusting that any child would ever be put in this position. Yes, he’s a hero, but he was 10. He deserved to grow up.

It feels thankless to organize in something big like this and I often regret the decision to get involved. I didn’t expect to feel isolated while organizing and I don’t know how common that experience is

A significant part of our #WAAM events have involved learning #BlackHistory - Harford Colored School, Truth and Community Park, and now Benjamin Banneker park. These stories don’t teach anyone to be ashamed, but rather to inspired by the tenacity of the human spirit

Oh my god yall. Just finished Day 10 of #WAAM and I am so freakin tired. It has been so much work. A very new experience, very difficult, and I’m not sure what sort of impact we’re having. I just want more people to wake up and get active to push back against fascism.

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 12/09/2025

Are you anywhere near DC? We are in Aberdeen, MD today. This is Day 7 of the We Are America March. If you’re nearby, you should come be around likeminded folks at one of our events ☺️ #WAAM

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 12/09/2025

Check out the We Are America March, which is on the road NOW. We are marching 160 miles to DC, hosting events, raising money for local organizations, and encouraging people to get out and DO something. What are YOU doing?

151

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

The We Are America March already passed through Delaware on our way from Philadelphia to DC, but maybe we will catch you in DC on 9/19 #WAAM

000

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

We are marching because all of us who want to return to common sense, collaboration, and community need to stand together and show the world who America really is. #WAAM

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

#WAAM The Havre de Grace Colored School Museum was once the only grammar school that offered black Americans an education through 8th grade, at which point they would have to leave the city if they wanted a further education. Integration in #HarfordCounty was peaceful despite worries

000

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

Day 6 of #WAAM We are stopping by the Havre De Grace Colored School Museum & Cultural Center to learn about the history of public education and Jim Crow in #HarfordCounty Maryland. It is important for us to learn the lessons of history so that we don’t repeat the mistakes of our ancestors

010

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

This is wrong and we know this is wrong. The court is not representative of who America really is. I want everyone to wake up and stand with the We Are America March as we remind Americans of who we really are - joyful, kind, silly, optimistic, and relentlessly hardworking

000

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

We need to finally accept that the rampant gun violence in this country is stupid bullshit that doesn’t need to happen. No one else in developed countries has this issue. It’s long past time we actually solve the problem. NO ONE should be shot at public events.

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

Will you be in DC on 9/19, @foushee.house.gov ? The We Are America March is on the road traveling to DC with copies of the kid constitution to deliver to members of Congress and I hope we can count on your support when we get there! #WAAM

011

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

Thank you for standing up for the people in DC, who are the latest civilians caught in the attempt of Trump to incite violence on our streets. The We Are America March is traveling to DC by 9/19 with copies of the constitution for members of Congress and I hope we will have your support! #WAAM

001

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

The only way this is going to stop is if we cut the bullshit and actually solve the problem - our gun laws are WAY too lax. We should be able to agree, at minimum, that no one should be shot at public events.

000

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

NO ONE should be shot. We are the ONLY developed country with this problem. It does not need to be this way. We CAN solve this problem.

I just want us all to agree that NO ONE should be getting shot going about their ordinary lives. NO ONE should live in fear of gun crime. We are the ONLY developed nation with this problem. It doesn’t have to be this way

000

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

Charlie Kirk advocated for violence and we saw where that got him. Let’s take a lesson from this that violence only produces more violence. We don’t have to settle for chaos and hatred as a norm. We can choose peace. We can choose each other. Let’s actually solve this problem finally - together

010

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

I was a freshman in a Maryland high school doing math homework before my chorus class started when we heard about the attack and turned the news on to see what was happening.

000

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

wtf happened in your life to make you so unpleasant? Maybe you should join our march for a couple miles to dance off some of that stress.

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

So then why is it we are the only developed country with this problem?

010

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

You’re spinning out here because you’re trying to win an argument instead of paying attention to your own logic. Your words just now make ZERO sense. Stop for a minute and think about what you actually believe - do you ACTUALLY think it’s reasonable for people to be shot at public events??

100

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

This is a totally nonsensical thing to say. Because magic won’t fix the problem, it means we can’t do ANYTHING about it? Are you being serious right now??

100

Jaxy the Bean Bun @jjbeanbun.bsky.social · 11/09/2025

This is why people feel uneasy, not “saddened” by Charlie Kirk’s murder. This is the violence the right wing brings and NOT what our country needs right now. Or ever.
