I have been looking at some new cyberpunk-themed clothes lately. Mostly hoodies, shirts and a few different types of pants. Not sure if I'll get any of it, but they look ridiculously comfortable. Also, you can never have too many pockets for stuff. Now, I just need them to make new MiniDisc players.

I truly treasure October for a variety of reasons. Not only being my birthday, but it is a unique month out of any other in the year. It's Halloween, of course. However, the whole month feels just perfect. Even the changing of the leaves. The myriad of colours you don't see any other time of year.

A sincere and happy Thanksgiving to anyone celebrating today. I hope it's one filled with delicious food, and relaxation. I look forward to eating a lot and unwinding. Part II of Lupin III releases on Blu-ray this month, and I am really excited about finally having another part of the series.

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I really hope that they do an anime adaptation for Dai Dark. It's such a fun concept, and the visuals are juxtaposed to the comedic tone amazingly well. I haven't read a lot, but enough to want to see it animated. I'd also like to start a few other series as well. I'd like a Hellstar Remina series.

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

I would like to look into getting myself some new manga later. Viz has some series and adaptations recently that have piqued my interest. One of which is based on an Agatha Christie novel. I would like to see if there are some for the Hercule Poirot stories I am fond of. I'd be down for an anime.

This has been an absolutely wonderful birthday so far. It has been peaceful, and getting wishes from my partner has been the best part of it. It has honestly made my whole day. I am on cloud nine, and will be riding this emotional high for a week. I don't really know what to say, other than woohoo!

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

It's officially my birthday. I am a bit stoked, though I wish it was on the weekend this year. Oh, well. It will be next year and the year afterwards. I might treat myself to sushi, or something nice, for dinner. We'll see if that's what I end up getting. Maybe I'll just get a pizza to celebrate.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I want to look at getting a few more things moved over to my server soon. They are going to be rather extensive endeavours because one show has a lot of episodes. Thankfully, I own the complete series for all of them. Maybe I can do that in the coming weeks. I'm just not going to on my birthday.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I would like to look at getting the old Dune mini series' on Blu-ray later. I found out that you can get all of them pretty cheap. So, that might be nice to get. As very, very campy as they are, I have some good memories watching both back when they were released on DVD in the very early 2000s.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

There are quite a few adventure games on the horizon. I'm excited about them, and the stories they all want to tell. Be it sci-fi, horror, comedy, fantasy, or some combination. They all look fantastic. I am anxious to see the creativity of so many different people. It's such a fun genre of games.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

The newest Silent Hill game looks really good. I want to check it out soon. I have a soft spot for the series, even if I was more into Fatal Frame and Clock Tower. October is still one of my favourite months. Not just because it's my birth month, but also because of the fact that I love Halloween.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I think I'm going to try make some soup later. It has been cool lately, and I have a craving. Perhaps some chicken noodle or tomato would be nice. That's one thing I really enjoy about this time of year, other than Halloween. There's so much amazing food that only seems available. Pumpkin spice too.

010

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

There is something about the resurgence of point and click adventure games that always excites me. It is a great genre for telling so many varieties of stories. Especially sci-fi, comedy, and horror. They allow the player to both explore new worlds, and challenge the mind with some creative puzzles.

I want to see if there are any newer Space Quest fan games. I've gone through most of the ones made, and I really love seeing how people have visualized Roger Wilco's adventures. Both in relation to his official stories, and original creations. SpaceVenture is a fun game, but it's not the same.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I would love to have a new sci-fi series with the same lighthearted tone as @thelibrarianstv.bsky.social, or some older 90s/2000s shows. While I can appreciate a more serious feel, I'd like to see something campy and fun. Not everything needs to be so dower and muted in colour. No fear of humour.

001

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I've been looking at Nixie tubes lately. There are a few projects that could be fun to build using them. I don't know if I'll get around to it, but something to consider. I've also been looking at a couple of Warhammer 40K Ork, or Shadowrun, figures I wouldn't mind getting my hands on as well.

010

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I've recently been dumping more books that I've bought digitally, or are public domain, to my self-hosting solution. I still need to setup actually being able to view them, but it's a first step. I like keeping digital books locally on a device, but this is a fantastic alternative for doing that.

010

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

There is an upcoming adventure game based on the Dunwich Horror. While I'm excited for it, I would love to see one based on the Silver Key Trilogy, or the Shadow Out of Time. Leaning more towards Lovecraft's sci-fi and fantasy work. I love the horror, but his other genres can be just as fascinating.

010

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I wish I had the sequel to Zak McKracken somewhere. It was such a fantastic fan game, and had a fun story. It sort of reminds me of the Silver Lining fan sequel to King's Quest, or the Space Quest ones. All of which are so worth playing, if you enjoy point and click adventures. So, I am biased.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

There are some upcoming adventure games that look phenomenal. Sadly, it doesn't look like any of them have release dates. They all appear to be worth the wait, but I still wish some of them were coming out soon. A few are horror-based, and they'd all be fantastic for October/Halloween next month.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I haven't caught up on the latest episode of @thelibrarianstv.bsky.social yet, but so far this season has been really good. I really hope that there are a home physical release of either each season or a boxset whenever it ends. Hopefully it goes on for many seasons though. It is a lot of fun.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Hopefully, with the upcoming Neuromancer TV series on the horizon, we'll either see a rerelease of the old adventure game, or a new point and click one made. William Gibson's work is an untapped resource for games. Especially of the adventure variety. Even some boardgames could be so much fun.

010

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

The upcoming remaster of Under a Killing Moon looks absolutely amazing. While I miss the original UI, the new one looks great and the upscaled video is fantastic. It's definitely a day one purchase, though I want to get that big box edition that they are doing. The added content is impressive too.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I've been looking at this newer manga series that's caught my eye called Dai Dark. It looks really good, and the art in the books is fantastic. I'm fascinated by the concept of the story and the horror-comedy tone. Hopefully it's as interesting as my initial cursory glance at the volumes I bought.

010

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

The upcoming Magic Knight Rayearth looks incredible. I really hope that it gets a physical release. There are a lot of newer anime and remakes I would like a Blu-ray disc for. The newer Shaman King, Ranma ½, and even that CGI film Ultraman: Rising are all ones I really want home releases for.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I should look into replaying some of the Space Quest fan games again soon. They are all so much fun, and have an impressive level of quality. I remember really enjoying seeing different ideas people came up with for storylines. It's a franchise I would love to have another official sequel someday.

001

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I really hope that they do a home release of the current @thelibrarianstv.bsky.social show. Either by season, or a complete series once it finishes. It all deserves a Blu-ray, but I'd take even DVD. It's also a franchise I'd love to see games for. Especially, if they did a point and click adventure.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I recently saw that there are talks about a remaster, or remake, of Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. With the upcoming return of Terranigma, it gives me hope for this. It is one of my favourite horror games and GameCube titles. I'd be curious to see how it'd function on modern hardware and PCs.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I keep getting the music from the Portal games stuck in my head. I might have to do a replay of them later. Either that, or Half-Life. There is something very charming about that entire universe that I miss with some modern FPS titles. Not that those do not also have their own identity as well.

I really hope that there is a physical release for all of the Shin movies. I would repurchase Shin Godzilla, if it included Shin Ultraman and Shin Kamen Rider as a trilogy boxset. I think it's important that people can own a copy of all three amazing films. To be honest, Ultraman: Rising as well.

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I want to rip CDs and download album purchases soon to add to my home server. There is a lot of stuff I own that isn't available on streaming services. Mostly rare Punk and Indie stuff. It shouldn't take up too much storage. Even if it is in FLAC or some other lossless compression audio formats.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I keep looking at the upcoming Expanse game. It looks like so much fun, and I can't wait for it. I wish more hard sci-fi works would get adaptations like that. Revelation Space or the Prefect Dreyfus series would make for some killer point and click adventures. I want to see places like Chasm City.

001

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I really hope to see more Kamen Rider seasons get official Blu-ray releases in the west. There are so many great options from the Heisei and Reiwa-era Riders that aren't available. Kabuto, OOO, W, Kiva, Revice, Gaim, and even the film Shin Kamen Rider, for example. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I recently went to see how many episodes of Kamen Rider Zeztz I had left to watch. Unfortunately, it seems @shoutstudios.bsky.social pulled the episodes from their Tokusatsu YouTube channel. This is disheartening. I really hope they do a Blu-ray release. I want to know how this latest season ends.

Today has been an absolute trainwreck. The one upside is that everything is done and I can largely relax. I could go for something to eat, but that has to wait a bit. Maybe I'll treat myself to something soon as a reward. That, and I'd like to look at some Dungeon Crawler Carl patches very soon.

010

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I've really been craving a new Space Quest game lately. Sadly, I know that is unlikely, but one can wish. I might revisit the official or fan made titles later. I think I'm just looking for something silly and fun. I know there's SpaceVenture, but I've already gone through that a couple of times.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I would really like to find more recent shows that keep that upbeat, lighthearted, adventurous tone. I know they have to be out there. It's something I really enjoy about @thelibrarianstv.bsky.social. The hopeful feel of it is something that felt more common in some older series I remember on TV.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I want to look at getting new soup recipes later. There are some really interesting varieties out there, and I would like to try something different than my usual ones. Maybe some variations of garden vegetable, or spiced chicken soups would be really nice to make. I am having a real craving.

011

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

The newest season of @thelibrarianstv.bsky.social has been quite enjoyable, so far. I love how similar, but also how different it feels from previous entries in the franchise. The lighthearted nature of the show makes me think of series you'd often see on TV in the 80s, 90s and 2000s. It's so fun.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I still need to look at getting more Dungeon Crawler Carl shirts soon. I've seen a few that are really cool designs. There's also a few patches and some pins I'd like. The amount of merch available is great, but there are a few more options I hope they explore. I'd love a themed cookbook as well.

110

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

I'd like to try get a signed copy of Neuromancer eventually. It's one of my favourite books of all time, and there is a signed hardcover edition available. I'm so excited about the adaptation, and hopefully do the rest of the Sprawl trilogy. Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive are both fantastic.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

It would be immensely helpful for there to be a service for print on-demand for movies and shows, like there are with books. It would be a good option to avoid the issue with things being unavailable. It would be particularly nice for older cartoons, and shows that are lesser known to people.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

It's a bit of a crappy day out. It's one of those ones you just want to stay in, but can't. Hopefully it brightens up, but I'm not so sure. Maybe tonight, I'll heat up some soup and try to relax. I have a craving for tomato or some chicken noodle, so that's probably what I'll make to eat later on.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Between Masters of the Universe, Transformers One, and a few others, it is really sad how many genuinely good movies go under the radar. I would love to see some kind of resurgence for The Pirates of Dark Water. That was a show that deserved so much more love than it got. Even as an adventure game.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I recently added some more sketch comedy shows to my media server. I'd like to get more like SCTV or Kids in the Hall. It adds a bit of variety, and is a time capsule for the past. I quite enjoy seeing old sets and some great gags. SCTV in particular has some fond memories for me. Such a classic.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

It would be nice to see Space Quest get a new game. Something similar to how they did King's Quest a few years back. I'm glad for the titles we do have, and all of the fan projects, so at least there's something. Even a new fan made Space Quest could be fun to check out. Maybe I'll replay some.

000

Jinx @jinxzero.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

It's exciting that they are finally releasing all of Lupin III Part 2 on Blu-ray soon. I know that it's just SD on BD, but at least it's all of the episodes in one set. Hopefully I can snag it and Part 3 at the same time. Those are the only ones that I'm missing, as far as the main series goes.

000
