I was going to shake my head at this, but I did perform with the lead singer of Harvey Danger at a rock orchestra concert over a decade ago so, uh, perhaps point proven

I had this for breakfast in Tokyo any day it was available. I really ought to make it here ;_;

I did a ten pack open and the only full art I got were three Yampers. I almost threw my phone out the window

I'll give you the hint that I'm not on the floor until after 2pm (I'm the person sending enforcers to problem areas in the morning, lmao)

I'm so sorry friend, it's such a rough place to be and I'm sending you all the good thoughts from Seattle 🫂❤️ My comfort games tend to be long JRPG's I can just sink into (Persona 5 Royal would be my main one), so I second the Katamari Damacy rec because that's a very silly fun game

No joke, we made almost exactly this same salad tonight I think 😂

Oh!! I had sumo stew while in Japan and I think you should look it up, it was delicious (I thought of you when I was eating it, haha)

How many cans can I smuggle home...

A yellow can against a white bed sheet, which has Japanese characters, ORIGINAL, and a slice of lemon on the label

Ugh, Amen to this. "Be an adult," okay but what if my idea of being an adult is writing emotionally charged ot3 smut??

It's amazing how being rejected for something frivolous and not expected still makes me feel bummed. I'm sure my therapist would have something choice to say about this, lmao (didn't get into a tour of a Japanese whiskey distillery, which is like, the least of things I should care abt on this trip)

Those cats tempt me to try and change our plans in Japan to get to them ;_;

010

Jinka @jinka.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

I know people gave Veilguard some shit for it's slightly heavy hand in writing and letting you know when you are making A Choice (tm), but, uh, it at least didn't have this problem. Because this is a sucky problem :(((

I wasn't as close with Rowan as others, but she was happy to talk business with me once or twice and her radical care for her employees has helped shape the culture I want my bakery to always have. Sending all my love to those close to her and all of you out there. It's all I can do.

Which obsession led me to making the Nevarran Hazelnut Torte for fun? Dragon Age, Lucanis, or baking? (reader, it was all three)

Okay, just looked and I was level 18 for the fight!

010

Jinka @jinka.bsky.social · 09/01/2025

I'll see what level I was when I fought it, because you can only go do high, haha

110

Jinka @jinka.bsky.social · 09/01/2025

I mean, that fight is just ass. It's genuinely the hardest fight based on level scaling, because at least with other dragons and [redacted] you have more health/revives /skills

Jinka @jinka.bsky.social · 09/01/2025

I can work with that I think, haha. I actually got it down in one try with a spellblade mage (also, this might be silly to state, but you could drop the difficulty for the flight and adjust back up after)

100

Jinka @jinka.bsky.social · 09/01/2025

Noooo. Look, let me know a day and I'll come over and rage beat it for you, haha

Sorry to bop on a different game thread, but did you finish Veilguard 👀

I have thoughts on Veilguard as a whole, but a lot of sins are forgiven because you can pet the cats and they rumble purr

I do believe they follow up if you get a lower rating, but it all depends on their area and rotation (I've been inspected by-

So as someone who does get inspected by the health department, it's actually a bit of a random drop in! Usually it's once every 6 months or so, and you walk them through where things are, temps, how you're following the rules. Some things are auto fails (not having a hand wash sink got a coworkers--
