Started with an old factory, ended up with a live/work dojo space. #ff14housing #ffxivhousing

Tatami mats, seen from the kitchen of this live/work dojo in a converted industrial space. Lots of window, brick, and factory lofts.

The dojo itself, with crossed halberds on one of the few solid walls in the space.

The view from the upper deck, looking down to the tatami mats, with the semi-private washroom and kitchen visible at the back.

The space at night, with plenty of warm light.

Redid the upper floor of the FC. Eagerly awaiting more slots so I can do the main floor. #ffxivhousing #ff14housing

A spacious common room bright windows, warm colours, and vaulted ceilings. Camera view to the north east. Kitchen tables in the foreground, an indoor pond with trees in the midground, and a seating area and library in the background.

Same room, facing to the north west, more library space, with seating, tables, and an arched stained glass window in greens. Central planting in the foreground.

The view to the south west, showing the kitchen area in front of a long, high bank of windows with sunlight streaming through, the pond in the the midground, and the library and stained glass windows in the background.

Jinjahl Interiors has a new Brynhildr office! Sadly, ran out of slots, so there are some unfinished edges. Still, kind of love the place. NA/Crystal/Bryn/Shiro/W14/P13/R2 #ff14housing #ffxivhousing

Cozy seating a leather sofa, two chairs, and a large, low coffee table, in front of the fire. Over the hearth is an expansive marble, wrought metal, and stained glass wall, flanked by bookshelves. Outside the arched windows to the right is a nighttime desert scene with sand dunes and stars.

The view from the drafting table out to the desert and night sky.

Desk area with a telescope pointed out into the night.

Moon Kitty Beach House, v2! Lots of blues and purple tones upstairs, and some patterns repeated on the two floors. On the lower floor, used phasmascapes and stained glass for more of a magical feel, but upstairs it's all practical effects. Light/Raiden/Shiro/W14/P53 #ff14housing #ffxivhousing

New seating area in the Moon Kitty Beach House, with textures and finishes in deeps blues and purples, and a view out to the moon rising over the ocean.

The finished view of the moon rising over the ocean, seen over the balcony.

The kitchen, photographed from the balcony.

New bedroom patio with private views out to the moon rising. This floor uses the Blue Moon and Urth's Fount phasmascapes for background, plus I finally got to use a Royal Bed and the new Lyhe Ghiah Stained Crystal Ornement, for some lovely greens and yellows.

Some progress rebuilding the Moon Kitty Beach House on the new plot (different angle to the ocean). Just now got enough out of inventory to be able to float stuff, so the next tasks are to fix the moon lighting and add some greenery between the railing and the view. But, progress. #ffxivhousing

The view out to the moon rising over the ocean, with noticeably offset and broken lighting on the moon (still to be fixed).

New kitchen area in the Moon Kitty Beach House, with finishes that pick up the deep blues from the seating areas. It's entirely possible Koh'sae will never cook in this kitchen. Wouldn't want to get it dirty!

Did some re-arranging in the housing-focused FC and added a couple of models on the main floor. #ff14housing #ffxivhousing

Model of elevator doors in a building lobby, in black and white, with Japanese-style paper walls and lit call buttons.

Model of a sunset in pinks and oranges, over the ocean, with a simulated beach, viewed from a simulated balcony.

I was initially quite happy with the campsite (see previous post), but didn't ultimately find the space compelling as a hangout spot. So, I had another go at it. :) Light/Raiden/Goblet/Ward 6/Plot 55/Room 1 #ffxivhousing #ff14housing

I keep changing it, but I think this may be the final form. The earlier campsite was a bit too... glamp. I like the solitude in this one. Seems to fit the setting better. #ff14housing #ffxivhousing

17 slots left. Not sure I know what the place is yet... #ff14housing #ffxivhousing

The FC apartment has developed somewhat. Not been happy with most of my attempts so far, but this one might turn out to be something.

A low-lit picture of a wall with stone pillars, broken windows, rusting metal, and plant life growing through it, giving the impression of an industrial space being reclaimed by nature. There is a small fire pit on the lower left of the image, with a fire burning.

In other news, I've started on my apartment in the FC. I wanted it to be a dark bedroom, but this might be taking it too far.

A FFXIV apartment, showing a bed across from a fireplace. At the end of the room, is a large window, set in dark paneling, looking out into a dark, green forest.

Well, the main floor just didn't feel coherent with the rest of the place. I did several versions, including one that felt like something out of Portal. None of it worked. In the end, I managed to squeeze the baths onto the main floor, and still have the house function. Happier, I think.

Jinjahl Interiors @jinjahl-interiors.bsky.social · 12/06/2025

Well, it has officially become the most random place I've done, and I kinda like it. It's a housing-focused FC, so the main floor intentionally shows a lot of the scaffolding, plus some random vignettes. Top and bottom are more polished. And I'm outta slots. #ffxivhousing #ff14housing

Ended up making a library and study area. Not unhappy with it. 🙂 Probably will need a little bit more clutter. #ff14housing #ffxivhousing

The gentlecat's club is developing. I liked the catacombs bathing area too much, so now I'm going arches everywhere.

Arches with bright window grid to one side and fireplace against red walls in the distance.

Another older design. I still love aspects of this place, including the long site lines of the lower floor, and the rain room (which always sounds like rain). This place had a coziness I've never quite recreated in more "polished" designs. #ff14housing #ffxivhousing #hgxiv
