GW36 - lost many points last week by benching Senesi. Hopefully he doesn't bite me again. With bench boosts and triple captains in play, this could be a bad week. 1/3 FT used on Palmer -> Saka. Debated getting Welbeck, but decided the extra transfer next week could come in handy.

So, my wildcard ended up outscoring my original team (after planned transfers) by 1 point, which is a relief, because after Bowen's haul (I'd got him for Ekitike before I decided to w/c), I feared the worst. Just wish I hadn't done that mad late move for Sarr over Gross!

I'm now tempted by something like this for GW32 WC. Then Gabriel -> Senesi and Thiago -> DCL with 2 of my 5 FTs in 33. I'd still then have 4 left over for later on. Anything else goes wrong, then Thiago's 33 fixture is actually fine for a BB.

GW28, still uncertain on captaincy, but on Haaland for now. Used one of my 4FTs on Potts -> Wilson, which bolsters squad depth, and gives me a playing XI for GW31 well ahead of time. Any further transfers before then can be used for firefighting/tweaks (e.g. not being forced to play Rodon in 31)

My bus team for GW28 below. The move I'm most tempted by is Potts to Wilson (exact money), benching Enzo. My plan is to try to go into 31 with 5 FTs, which gives me 2 further transfers between now and then to fix issues and/or make improvements. We'll see - things seldom go according to plan.

It's weird how I can both realise that TC on Gabriel was in hindsight a bad decision, but also be kind of pleased I did because otherwise I'd have a red arrow this week! This game does naturally bias one towards short term results.

8 PL sides out of the FA Cup so far, but all 8 in different fixtures in GW34. If Liverpool beat Brighton, that would be 9. Still nothing confirmed on in that week yet. Making Arsenal v Newcastle the only fixture with both sides still in (if Liverpool win).

Am I the only person who actually quite likes the advent of defcon? People used to go on and on about bringing DMs and the like into the game, and this has done that. There's now a real choice between having the likes of Anderson ticking over, or going for someone more explosive. I like that.

This is me at the moment. Was very tempted to move Dorgu to either Cash or Senesi, but then thought about what happens if Chelsea and Everton double (I have only Enzo). Better to have transfers in hand, so thinking of rolling to 4 frees now. Anybody agree or disagree?
