Another account I called on when I left Hamilton Avnet. I worked for an independent Rep, MicroTex. Philips Semiconductor was our big line and a supplier of semiconductors to Tellabs. A decade later I was recruited by Philips to call on these this company. Tellab’s hey day was over by then.

Of the 3 founders of US Robotics, Casey Cowell is still with us. I had a few meetings with Casey as he was president of that company and we supplied him with intel chips. I earned good commissions and was able to invest some of those. Those investments secured my future. Good memories.
