Some totally rockin' new additions to the experience that is my life. Totally new to me are: Post Honeycomb breakfast cereal and Zapp's Voodoo kettle chips. Returning after a long absence: Polar flavoured seltzers.

A tasty blend of paprika, BBQ, sour cream n' onion, ketchup and hot sauce flavours, all combined to season potato chips fried in peanut oil.

Canadian-style box of Post's Honeycomb cereal, which once memorably featured André the Giant in its commercials, shaking a couple of kids out of a treehouse until they placate him with a bowl of the product in question.

Got something in the post for making a pretty cool paella-style meal. On the box it mentions adding browned sausage, cooked shrimp or ham steak (gammon 🇬🇧) I think two of these smokey BBQ hot-dog sausages from Aldi for my half and prawns for mother's half should do us right.

@cheapshow.bsky.social @e-loud.bsky.social Bit of fun purchased in b&m in the middle of Blackpool, fellas. One of the "K-Pop Demon Hunters" branded Shin Ramyun noodle cups, lovingly prepared here in the Socially Pervasive Underground Noodle Kitchen.

The unopened cup itself, bearing the likeness of a character I've never heard of and don't want to pay for a Netflix subscription to learn more about.

Open cup, with rabbit-chods of suspicious "mystery meat" and packet of soup powder, which smells rather pleasantly of burger toppings. Onions and pickles, mostly.

Boiling water added to powder-caked noodles and "meat", left for three minutes to get all comfortable.

Had myself a pretty bangin' day out in Blackpool under the most oppressive heat so far this week. And just have yourselves a good look at all the glorious swag I've managed to pull into my personal orbit!

Pizza Hut personal pan Meat Feast pizza, topped with pepperoni, ham, spicy beef and sausage

Colour and flavour guide printed on the rear of a box of Mike and Ike's Thrill Ride Mix. Extremely tart lemonade. Sweet caramel blends very well with candy green-apple. Cotton candy has that familiar spun-sugar taste and slight warmth. Churro flavour is like if brown sugar/cinnamon Pop Tarts were a Hot Tamale variety.

The original, and the best in the series of demonic shit-putter-uppers from 1973.

Ever since discovering this incredibly popular fruit-based drink being served with hot dogs slathered in relish of the Purest Green at a Singapore bowling alley, I have spent the rest of my life chasing a home-made version. How I did it in the Alt Text:

1 portion Dole mandarin segments in juice
1 good-sized ice cube
1 and ½ tablespoons (or large scoop) vanilla ice cream

Blend it up good. Top up with orange Fanta, coconut water, anything you fancy really. ALTERNATIVE: Instead of ice cream, use orange sorbet.
