Ugh, I did a quick whois lookup to see if he was dumb enough to not register the domain. Looks like he beat us to the punch. Brilliant genius. This is ridiculous:

I propose my solution: Tony Hawk's Pro Tanker 4:
A humorous diorama of a skateboarder jumping over a map of Iran from Kuwait to Pakistan to avoid the Strait of Hormuz. Four figures illustrate the stages of the trick from "Power Ollie" to "Stomp Landing," carrying "OIL" barrels. The title reads: "How to Skateboard Over Iran (and Avoid the Strait of Hormuz)."

Well done! You read my mind, as I was working with Gemini to create a similar image!

I checked flags and there are many related to Lens. I can poke around and see how these impact behavior, but since the omnibar homework help isn't coming up in Brightspace, @eam0.bsky.social may be able to produce better results.

This didn't age well.
Kristi Noem tweet from February 6, 2024. If Joe Biden federalizes the national guard, that would be a direct attack on states' rights. Over the last several years, we've seen Democrats try to take away our freedoms of religion, assembly, and speech. We can't let them take away our right to defend ourselves, too. South Dakota defends the Constitution.

The news inspired me to actually create a meme.

Umm, Donald... Which of the 27 countries in the EU are teaming up with Canada to do harm? Maybe time to go back to school? Just sayin'. You are doing more harm to this country than any nation on this planet.
Social post of Trump: If the European Union works with Canada in order to do economic harm to the USA, large scale Tariffs, far larger than currently planned, will be placed on them both in order to protect the best friend that each of those two countries has ever had.

I feel like I can speak for my Congressman, and tell you that's a "No. I think it's a great idea." Here's just one example of his idiocy, Kai.
Mark Alford Facebook Post: You want to know why Republicans are backing today's CR?
Simple. It freezes spending so we can identify and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse. And trust me, there’s plenty of it in Washington.
This isn’t just about keeping the lights on—it’s about making sure your tax dollars aren’t being thrown at radical leftist pet projects.

THIS is why I'm so pissed off. My worthless senator just blowing his talking points up my ass. Regional needs like EMTs in national parks? Core functions, like keeping planes from falling out of the sky?
Text of email from Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt. Thank you for contacting my office about federal workforce and President Trump’s administrative reforms. I value your input and welcome all comments, so I may stay informed on the issues that are most important to you and all Missourians.

The U.S. government must become more efficient. This begins by reverting from the traditional “one size fits all” approach dictated by Washington, D.C, and instead, empowering our communities for success. Decentralizing authority away from Washington, D.C. allows for more tailored solutions that better meet regional needs.

President Trump promised he would reform and remodel federal agencies to meet the dynamic and modern needs of our country. He is fulfilling that promise, although downsizing is never an easy process. A smaller federal workforce helps cut government expenditures and reduces the burden on taxpayers. This will encourage agencies to eliminate redundancy and focus on the core functions of their agencies.

I, along with my colleagues, are closely watching the restructuring of federal agencies and I will make sure to keep your thoughts in mind.

Thank you again for your correspondence. If you have any other concerns or need help with a federal agency, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office. It is an honor to serve as your voice in Congress.

Those who can't attend can go to the house.mo.gov site, click hearings, find it, and submit written testimony in opposition. I'm attaching an animated gif with instructions.

Plenty, but at the same time, every page you read, every post you like on social media builds a profile of whether you agree with the supreme leader. Thank goodness the owners of the major search engines and social media companies aren't standing by him. Oh, wait...

Just like Arsenio Hall, I’m on a positive tip (or trying to) so here’s something that brings me joy: My son in a Mario costume, high fiving a sweet little girl at a marching band fundraiser breakfast.
