20+ folks came out yesterday in 92F heat to remove about 1.5 miles of old barbed wire fencing within our National Monument. The fencing was negatively impacting wildlife movement & getting in the way of great mountain biking trails. #RGDN #Taos #NMwx #NewMexico #PublicLands

1/2: I spent Saturday with a fabulous group of volunteers installing two beaver decievers along the Rio Fernando just east of #Taos #NewMexico. These contraptions allow beaver to do their thing in peace while not harming human infrastructure. #NMwx #NMwater #Beavers
