Yet again we've got a Scottish budget full of measures designed to mitigate Westminster policies. Instead of constantly having to protect Scots from Westminster decisions we should aim for a Scotland that protects itself forever from Westminster decisions by removing itself from Westminster rule.

I'm 72 years old and supported labour in my younger years. But when Jack McConnell, as the first minister, handed back £1.5 billion to Westminster... Money that should have been used for the benefit of the Scottish people that was me finished .
