I am an ideas guy. Naturally the first step of any idea is a logo!

I'm gonna make a comic about all the little imaginary games my son plays with me!

Character design sketches for Dad, Az and Sheepy

Comic panels including Az yelling "'Pider coming", Turtle by the hot spring and a spider on Dad's head

Az yelling about a hole in the path. Apparently there was a spider in there!

Chapters on reels is so wild to me. Like is our attention span so bad we need this on a one minute video?

Chimpansea is one of my favourite names!

Chimpansea - a blue monkey beast with a long fishy tail and yellow fins

Chimpansea details - They love collecting shiny items, often hoarding valuables in their front pouch. Though they can survive on land, they much prefer the water

About time I shared more Battle Beasts stuff, after the years of work that's gone into it! 🌿 Here's the first in the Beastpedia (working title), Vinivorous.

Vinivorous, a green vine creature with a purple cape, based on a carnivorous plant.

Vinivorous details, a mischievous beast that can be quite dangerous. Young Vinivorous love to lurk in trees and surprise people passing by.

I can't find my current sketchbook and it's kinda stressing me out. I probably put it down somewhere completely random cause I carry it around a lot.

the artistic process

PANEL 1: a pigeon sits, head thrown back as they yell "i need to drawwww"
PANEL 2: the pigeon sits up, drawing in a sketchbook, a box of crayons next to them. frowning, they say "ugh this sucks"
PANEL 3: the pigeon lays on their front, happily propping one wing on their face and kicking their legs. they're drawing a slice of bread and say "oh wait, i love art"
PANEL 4: the pigeon stands up, head thrown back as they kick a ball of paper. their art is either scribbled out or balled up, the box of crayons knocked over. they angrily say "i hate everything i've ever made!!!"

Hourly Comics 2026 part one (belated because i wanted to give em some colour)

Hourly comics title page featuring a single panel of an octopus underwater approaching the surface

5am: my cat wakes me up by clawing me, i relent and we go sit on the couch and watch the sunrise like real best friends.
6am: couch time, reading the news (bad) falling back asleep and dreaming about a plane crash.

Continuation of the dream: the pilot is confident he can land the plane, i’m not so sure as i see the wing falling through the air out the window. A panel follows of a peaceful feild and then one of the distant explosion of the plane. ‘We didn’t make it’ reads the text box. Dream complete!

Later o’clock: first panel reads ‘now its time for the getting ready morning montage! Then panels of me showering, getting dressed, eating a banana and getting harassed by my cat (best friend)
12pm leaving ghe house with ronnie, going to pick up a parcel at the post office but arriving to find the post office is closed for renovations so we don’t know where the parcel is.
1pm ruminating about shortly eating a sandwich which i had been very excited for before ronnie returns telling me that they have sold out. I’m sad.

I don't think I posted this zine here! Still as relevant as ever... (1/2)

A small zine starts with "My coworkers were talking about sport the other day..."

Four characters sit at a table. One character says "They're usually good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory."
Another replies "It was a really good game actually!"

Jimmy sits alone "I sat and listened... And thought about all the things I'm interested in."

A fish silhouette surrounded by things like comics, Pokemon, theatre, murals, lego, etc.

Little doodles of my play with some artistic liberties(I don’t have an alpha mareep yet…but I will!!) #pkmn #pokemonza #totodile #mareep

3 doodles of my pokemon ZA character with purple half up hair, a purple sweater, black short shorts and knee stockings, a wooloo fleece bag on her belt.

In the first doodle she is enjoying tea at a cafe with her totodile who happily eats a delicate cake

In the second doodle she looks nervous as her rotom phone saves her from a fall from the building above

In the final doodle she hugs a massive alpha mareep

I never do this on purpose, but when I do... Amazing that it can identify Pokemon and then get it so wrong. And while we're at it. I do not have a Google Pixel.

Google AI results identify my Wishiwashi background as Shedinja.
