I'm working on something VERY secret and VERY cool for the @iii-initiative.bsky.social showcase... See you next week 😉

Lovely community win with this one. Brought back the Tailor (a legacy request) and feedback from the community is directly influencing the roadmap and the way the game is evolving. Thanks for all of the messages, Hammerwatchers ⚔️

My wife and I lost a baby a couple months ago. It was (obviously) rough. Victoria’s currently raising money for Sands UK. They’re a charity that help families going through loss, help provide midwife training, and more. You can donate here: fundraising.sands.org.uk/fundraisers/...

Had to keep it connected but up high enough for our non verbal son not to be able to reach and the faux fireplace wasn’t high enough 😅 We improvised.

Thanks! Did not think it would survive the night but so far so good 😅

Yes, in an ideal world it would be central to the faux fireplace, but that’s not where the studs were 🫠

I’m terrible at DIY, but I’ve managed to mount a TV and PS5 to the wall. Genuinely proud of myself. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty good.

I say “dated” with love. I miss games being designed this unapologetically straight forward.

000

Jimmy Bowers @jimmybowers.com · 09/08/2026

Echoes of the End is really good. Sure, it has quite linear and dated level design, but it feels like God of War 2016 in the areas that matter. A great LOTR easter egg too where you find a strange ring from looting and get a chance to throw it into a volcano later on… 🌋

Burial at Sea was a nice addition (enjoyed Episode 2 more than 1). The perspective and genre shift in EP2 was a welcome change. The bigger focus on stealth and ammo scarcity added a new dimension to the series that I enjoyed.
