#JohnbyJohn from #DouglasStuart + it’s a intense story about religion, secrets and how to be yourself. + The story is told from different POV’s and ages. + it’s jarring how the writer makes the story relevant and intriguing. And sad at the same time. + The twist at the end. #Booksky #Review #Book

The funny part about the books that I’m reading, is that most of the times the story is a surprise. Because most of the recommendations come from TikTok. When a book has my attention I want to have it as soon as possible on my Kobo. At the time I’ll start with the book, my head is blank of info.

A week ago I started with #APsalmfortheWild-Built or #Monkandrobot. But it’s the #book that ended up at my #DNF list. Maybe it’s the language barrier, but I didn’t get a grip of the world building, main character and storyline. Can someone who can explain what I missed? #booksky #books #reading

#LilyKing gives with #Heartthelover a good triangle love story. With unbearable characters, but after all it was an easy read with allot of back story. Some parts weren’t my cup of tea, as the sentimental that was built up throughout the story progressed. #booksky #review #books #bookreview ⭐️⭐️⭐️

#Yellowface is a book that let me balance between irritation and empathy. #RFKuang writes about real people with different character traits. The one part that I didn’t liked was how some storylines were too negative and far-sought. The story made me think about racism #booksky #review #books ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was it enough to recommend it? In addition to the references, it does seem to be a repetition of moves. But if you enjoyed this world before it’s a great read. Het bijzondere bij beide bedrijven is dat het zo lang geleden is, dat zij de gegevens niet eens meer hadden mogen hebben. Ik blijf het toch bijzonder vinden dat dit normaal wordt gevonden.

#TJKlune wrapped a big blanket around me when I dived in #ThehouseintheCeruleanSea. It’s a good way to start autumn with a warm story and heart! #booksky Conclusion: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didn’t know what to expect, when I started with the #book #DungeonCrawlerCarl by #MattDinniman. It was a rollercoaster and a good one. With allot of action, character development, world building and a cliffhanger for the next book. I liked the way how this and the videogame vibe matched #booksky

I must say that I really enjoyed this book. Like the post above, it fucks with your mind as a reader. What is real? Some parting the middle of the book didn’t add much to the story. The end of the #book felt like it was written in a hurry. Or my expectations where to high. #booksky #review

The Dutch writer #ThomasOldeHeuvelt released the #thriller/#horror #book #HetlaatsteverhaalvanJamieGunn. This book gets you from the first page. The common thread in the book is death. The main character struggles to distinguish reality and his thoughts or is it super natural? #booksky #review

#afd

The #Netflix #Movie #TheWhisperman feels like it’s from the early days. Adding nothing new to this genre. With missing parts of the movie to inform the viewers about key changes. With overall solid performances. A movie if you have nothing to watch anything, it gets a watchable 6 #review #movietok

Before I started with this book. Some of the reviews explained it as a Heated Rivalry but without tennis. The part of the story that I liked was the story development and how the main characters struggle with mental issues. It was recognizable as a gay person. How you feel and think about yourself.

Another thing that I liked, was how #EdwardSchmit writes about self acceptance as a #LGBTQ #queer person. It was a nice read and entertaining. Don’t start reading with allot of expectations. Then I can recommend #TheOpenEra. #Shortreview #Booksky #Bookreview

#EdwardSchmit had my attention with his #book #TheOpenEra. When instarted I thought is would be like a #HeatedRivalry. But it was a story about someone with mental problems. Instead of the sexual tension and scenes. I love how the ‘love story’ about the two main characters. #Booksky #LGBTQ #Review

I finished #TheChildren by #MelissaAlbert. And I must say that I’m disappointed. When I saw the cover and read the story of the book. I hoped for allot of action, horror and magic. There is allot of talking but no horror. I thought that the story was building but without a climax #booksky #review
