We have one near us. We have named him Batholomew

And again, this is where I started, and stopped with. Buying separate books for different armies was just too expensive.

That was always a pretty decent bit of kit

This is the one I started with, and never moved on from

Complete with metal Mickey autotune?

Spotify has this "AI DJ" thing, and it just makes me cringe. This is the same platform that offers up adverts of ABBA right when I've been listening to Lamb of God.

One artist, a rake, and a tide clock. Andres Amador's massive geometric sand drawings vanish before the day ends, and that's the whole point.

Would my starlet fit the bill for Rustival?

Wait what, is that a glanza? I have no bloody idea what that is

Nice one buddy. You can stop stressing now

Reasonable people don't give a shit if armies aren't painted. Did you have fun? If so, job done 👍

Never played it. Looks quite complex

I appreciate this public service announcement

As well as painting miniatures, I do photography too. This shot generated some real issues I hadn't anticipated. I hadn't realised how green the skin would be with the sun reflecting off the fauna. So much faff was needed in Photoshop.

Most of us worry about the end result, but even if I don't get it right, I've learned something. And if I'm honest, I have massive armies, I just can't spend that much time painting one figure, so instead of enjoying the end paint job, I enjoy the process. It's time for you buddy.

Love your shading, work of art.

A while back my family and I went to a pride event. They had a fun fare and everything but what struck me the most is that it was absent of bell ends. No gammon swilling beers looking for fights. Just genuinely lovely people just having fun. Also, no surgery tents converting people.

I'm looking at the state of Rob and guessing the AI prompt was something like... "Create the bastard love child of Morn from Star Trek and a prune, add in the face that not even a mother could love, then put in a paper bag and beat with a baseball bat for an hour. Marinade in eternal singledom."

It might something like using unsharp mask in editing software might help. It could be that the camera/phone is moving and your zoomed in. When I take photos properly I actually have a Bowens Gemini studio flash and because of that the shutter speed is very fast on my old Nikon.

Do you use software to process the image?

Have gone into the settings to ensure high quality shots are selected

Cannonballs tend to do that. He should probably avoid doing that again. The aftertaste is a bit peppery.

Traditional niches such as instant film cameras, fountain pens, and tabletop gaming are experiencing commercial revivals as consumers seek authenticity that cannot be replicated by automated software.

The Financial Times Lex column presents the "anti-AI portfolio" as an investment thesis capitalizing on consumer screen fatigue and a growing preference for tactile, physical offline experiences.

Finally happened, my father passed away at 3pm today. Managed to say goodbye on Sunday, not sure who benefitted from that really. I've had good people, friends and family, around me to make sure I didn't turn out like him.

Left handed cameras are a thing, well that's cool. The font on the lens is crap, can't tell if it's Nikon or niron. Most images are shot in a mirror so the font is normally reversed.
