Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 05/10/2026Was planning on trying a different style but my black marker is running out and being streaky, so it evolved into a messy scribble thing and I think it worked out. #crow #drawtober 140
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 01/10/2026Decided to give an October prompt thing a go this year to try new things. Let’s see how long it lasts. #drawtober #forest 001
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 01/10/2026I already had a set of six of these and love them, so nabbed the 24 set at 25% off. 000
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 28/09/2026It was Christopher Reeve’s birthday last Friday. Had this in my head, but only got round to it now. 001
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 17/09/2026It was Peter Falk’s birthday yesterday. I’ve not done a 100% marker sketch before so thought I’d ’quickly’ give it a go at 10:30pm. 150
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 19/04/2026Happy birthday, Tim Curry. I tried, but it’s late in the day and I could spend another hour on this and not make much difference. 120
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 12/03/2026I rejigged it last night because I thought his hand looked too much like a foot, plus some other tweaks. I really should wait before posting because this always happens. 020
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 11/03/2026It’s the birthday of Douglas Adams, so I thought I’d give him a go. 292
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 21/01/2026FAO @oddthisday.bsky.social Looking for something to draw, I remembered your post the other day. 120
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 21/01/2026Since it’s his birthday today, I thought I’d have a go at David Lynch. 110
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 15/01/2026I did some touchups and finally got round to fixing it and the spray has really dulled it down. I’m a bit annoyed about that. 000
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 11/01/2026I got a larger pack of charcoals, with more colours, and wanted to try using a bright colour paper. I think it’s worked out nicely. 350
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 10/01/2026Two in a week! Five down, three to go. It’s only taken me two years. I’m on a roll. 000
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 14/10/2025I’m speeding up, knocked this one out in about two and a half hours. Three down, five to go. 110
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 07/09/2025I used some new coloured charcoal pencils I bought a while back that I hadn’t got round to trying out yet. 010
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 07/09/2025Watched The Monkey the other day, a dark comedy horror about an evil mechanical monkey. Very good of you like Final Destination style stuff. 🐵 🥁 121
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 15/06/2025A while back, I came up with the idea for a series of 8 drawings I wanted to do and excitedly went straight into the first one… then stopped. Tonight, I thought I’d continue, and bashed out the second. I just finished, and noticed the dates. Two down, six to go, expect the complete set by 2037. 130
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 28/02/2025HUMAN ARTISTS, use only one piece to convince people to follow you #artshare 011
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025This was meant to be a Christmas present, but I was ill and only got round to doing it last week. As they’ve now got it in the mail, I can post it here - My dad and his wife as gnomes (which she loves). 010
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Right, let’s bring everything up to date. A couple of weeks ago, I drew this thing for my daughter. If you play Fortnite, you know what this little guy is. 171
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Forgot to post this a while back. It was my nephew’s birthday and he’s a big fan of Fallout, so I turned him into the Sole Survivor. I knocked it out in an evening, but wish I’d had more time, it doesn’t feel right and I don’t quite know why. - 100724 110
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Tested out my new fountain pen, but still not brave enough to commit to using watercolours, it seems a lot of faff, so coloured this with markers. - 100524 1151
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025In my ever widening search to explore different styles, I’ve bought a fancy fountain pen, a Platinum Carbon Desk Pen, along with some supposedly waterproof Carbon Ink. The plan is to outline and then watercolour, we’ll see how that goes. - 230424 140
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Acrylics onto styrene sheets, shrink ‘em down, resin front and back - with a pin, and Bob’s your uncle. - 110424 100
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025I’ve had an idea bouncing around for a while and finally decided to quickly try it out - Beatles badges. - 110424 100
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025I’ve quickly realised that people are more than happy to receive art as gifts. Here’s a portrait of my Dad that I did for his birthday. - 130324 020
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025I had beans on toast for lunch yesterday, so I drew some. - 210224 120
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025I’m calling this done. I started it nearly two weeks ago but haven’t spent two weeks on it because at times it felt daunting, so I didn’t do anything. It would just sit there, mocking me. I enjoyed doing it, but I’m glad I’ve finished it. - 060224 0101
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025I regret using a gold marker. It was a great idea in principle, but a bastard to work with. It kept flaking and going everywhere. - 060224 010
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025The beginning of something I’ve been working on this the past few days. - 050224 010
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Followed a tutorial to quick sketch buildings, then coloured them, first using alcohol markers, and then some shitty kid's watercolours I had kicking about. Quite enjoyed painting, so bought some semi-decent watercolours for future use. - 250124 020
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Trying out a combination of markers and pencils back in December, to see how that all works, I drew my brother-in-law’s dog, Reginald. - 240124 000
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Reposting because I took a better picture, daylight is much better than house lights at midnight. Anyway… Needed a new avatar for my new account. I quite like the picture I use on JimmerUK so thought I’d simply draw it, you know, this being my art account and everything. - 240124 010
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Thought I’d try something a little different with that whole art thing. - 100124 020
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Off the back of my Joker mask, I realised my white wasn’t doing the business, causing me a lot of issues. I googled for a decent white and Jesus Christ, the difference is night and day. Left is regular pencil with pressure, right is the new pencil with just three gentle layers. - 220124 000
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025I must have ‘finished’ this drawing five times before I finally declared it finished. I keep looking at it, thinking of little touch ups here and there, and adding and adding, but at some point, I have to walk away. Anyway, here’s a thing I did. - 180124 010
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Liz Truss’s portrait now added to the No. 10 staircase. - 231223 010
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025I bought a rolly-up thing pencil case for my - as yet untouched - pencils, and have spent the last soothing five minutes putting them in. It’s too beautiful not to share. - 091023 000
Jimmer.art @jimmer.art · 31/01/2025Pissing about with different things on my new paper. I’m going to art so hard in the new year (after spending a lot of time watching you tube videos). - 211223 000
