This reminds me of a dog performing a trick to receive a treat. I often notice animal imagery in the clouds.

For #ShowMeYourKnits Feather and Fan pattern for #BabyBlanket for upcoming grand niece due within the next two weeks. Parents to be are not on #bluesky so not worried about them seeing it yet. Blue Sky Organic Cotton Worsted.

I choose colors based on season the newborn arrives. Wanted a summer meadow look. Colors right to left: bay leaf, dandelion, indigo, poppy, orchid, sky blue. (Called Caribbean by yarn company. Changed name to fit my concept. Creative license by the knitter.)

The knitter on his roofdeck. Hair has not been cut i. 10 1/2 months. Just letting it grow until I tire of it. The higher the humidity, the curler it gets. Also helps that I don't see the bald spot in the back. LOL!

Today went to Philadelphia Film Society to catch "I Know Where I'm Going" (1945). Directed by Michael Powell and Emerix Pressburger. Last saw it in 1986. Enjoyed it so much. A delightful romantic story starring Dame Wendy Hiller. 🌟🎬🌟 Audience burst into applause at films end.

An Aran weight scarf from #stash #blueskyextraaran #babyalpaca #finemerino I change colors every two rows from opposite ends. Except for first four rows and last four. Knitted in color A to give edges with gravitas.

Aran weight scarf on gentleman who turned 72 the day prior. Colors are nocturne and lei.

The tags. Can't remember whether I purchased this yarn years ago or someone gave it to me. Regardless, it qualifies as stashbusting.

I enjoy playing with ribbing. Needles 1 & 3 are ribbed from canton to heel. Some knitters like the stripes match up. I enjoy mismatched stripe sequences.

Shaved my moustache off the other day after more than a decade. Will be growing back soon. Just wanted to freshen up.

#showmeypurknits For stripes week. These are scarves knitted over the years. Some are #sequemceknitting concepts. Others are sideways scarves alternating the colors from opposite ends and sometimes slipping stitches. Completed in years 2016, 2018, 2023, 2024, 2025.

All wool scarves. Not unusual for me to wear three different ones in the course of a day.

For #showmeourknits my latest #sequenceknitting scarf. Ends still need to be woven in and then washed and blocked. Yarns are #woolstok fingering (light shade) and #perendale wool (dark shade). Blues are definitely part of my color palette.

Cast on 55 stitches with 11 knit, 11 purl etc. Repeat row. At beginning and end and at approximately every 100 rows four rows of dark blue.
Length is 6 ' x 10 "

First 500 rows are 2 x 2 alternating knits and purls every eleven stitches.

Rows 501 - 710 are 4 x 4 with the same knit and purl sequence

An enjoyable and challenging traveling cable hat pattern from #thathatoverthere on IG. Pattern called Westsider. Yarn is #FeederbrookFarm 100% Bluefaced Leicester wool. Colorway is called Isotope. I made the brim a little longer to keep ears when the season is chilly/cold.
