Whoever wrote Midnight Mass has an actual kink for 5 minute monologues, my god. It's like a perfect show otherwise

Thank you! It was very tedious work but I'm glad it paid off. I quilt on my domestic machine, so I don't have much experience doing anything besides straight lines. The inspo I based this on used a wavey stitch on their machine and that intrigued me so that's what I've been planning to do!

Thank you! I've only been quilting for a little over a year, and I really wanted to hone in on precision with this one. The original intent was to enter the county fair just for fun, but I procrastinated too much for this time around

Inspo for this quilt was from "teaginny designs", blog post titled "Road Trip Redux". I see the picture of her quilt all over Pinterest, so I wanted to give proper credit!

I started this quilt top back in March. A lot of life happened since then, but I banged out the last bit of it the past couple days. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! This was a test of patience and precision. It'll be my second largest, at 48"x48" #quiltsky #sewingsky #quilting #sewing

I'm a Chemist, so I clarified if it had to be chemistry related or not first, and they were like no, it could be anything! And bread was the first thing I thought of 🤣

One of the questions/prompts in my interview today was "teach us something in 1-5" minutes. So I yapped about how to make breads/yeasted doughs 😅 one person said it was a great response, and another person said they wanted bread now 🤣 #baking #bakesky #bakingsky

I'm sure it would be great in cast iron! Especially a Detroit style crust 😋

Thank you! We started on our homemade pizza kick by using store bought naan as the crust. But I eventually was curious to try making dough from scratch, and we've never gone back!

Made some pulled noodles for the first time. My technique on the final pull got better each time, which I think is evident in the noodle progression. Tasty! #noodles

Recipe used here. I used random bits of chocolate I had left (60% cacao bar, bakers German chocolate, semi sweet choc chips). I didn't add the extra unmelted choc chips cause I don't like my brownies that way. I'm realizing I could/should've added nuts. Next time cookiesandcups.com/perfect-fudg...

I've followed a few different scone recipes that mainly used whole milk as the liquid. There's a noticeable difference in the softness and moisture thanks to the greek yogurt, so I'll have to agree with you!
