Yes I only get WhatsApp messages from contacts. SMS is regularly used for notifications. And most people don't assume I have WhatsApp so SMS to start,CA's do I. If I need to make an international call I have EU roaming.

People shouldn't be forced into a proprietary app (especially part of Facebook) and assume everyone uses it. SMS is universal, as are 5G calls.

I went to a talk at the local Nuffield Hospital and that was one point made. They showed scans of deceased men, with lots of little areas of cancer, but they hadn't died from cancer.
