Peter Cullen was one of these people I never thought would really pass away. I'd become older and wrinkled and somehow he would still be there, voicing Optimus. I'm actually devastaded, I wasn't expecting these news any sooner. Rest in Peace man

My mom keeps asking me when I'll ever get tired of drawing robots and honestly I hope not soon because I've invested a big chunk of my money and brain mater in this, my mind is now mostly composed by glup shitto robot facts and box perspective tutorials

Behind the scenes tidbit: I made all BGs using watercolor. It aint THAT great, since I'm still new to this technique but I hope I can do the same again in the future with bigger canvas. It was a fun experiment, I loved doing it

Hey I participated in a reanimated project of the 1986 movie! It's on youtube now!! Had the luck of animating my favorite scene from the film!

Btw my headcanon is confirmed once again. Being a prime fucking sucks and G1 Rodimus is being vindicated for the 100x time this century. Optimus is like a week without the matrix and the light already came back to his optics my man is freeeeee

I like the 1986 movie and I love G1 but deep down I wish there was an alternative timeline where Optimus is dead from start to finish and the whole theme were the characters (and the audience) needing to accept that sometimes people we love die and we need to deal w/ it. Not good to sell toys tho.

jimbo @jimbotron3000.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

Besides this premise these two have nothing in common, but Harlock has the aura and hype moments Rodimus thought he had for a good chunk of the comic if you think about it

if Octane and Sandstorm were in #Earthspark #transformers #maccadam

Sandstorm and Octane were surrounded by autobots, guns pointing at them. Octane clings to Sandstorm's legs like a coward.
"Guns down, he's with me" says Sandstorm

Arcee and Sandstorm dapping up. "Wreck n' rule, baby!"

Mirage and Hotrod are talking to eachother.

Mirage: "You wanna meet that triple-changer on earth? I've heard he was a wrecker!"

Hotrod: "Oh, Sandstorm? I'm already familiar."

Mirage: "Really? How did you two meet?"

Hotrod: "I- uh... exploded his home planet."

(Fun fact: In g1 magnus and rodimus do explode sandstorm's home planet lol)

Octane is being a sneaky bastard, snooping through Ghost's Jail cells.
Him and Starscream notice eachother.

Starscream: "Oh no."

Octane: "Starscream!!"

That all being said I'd die for Elita and I'm not looking forward for the very eminent humbling character arc

030

jimbo @jimbotron3000.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

This conflict between Elita and OP looks interesting on the surface but its lacking the very necessary sensibility and nuance it had back on the space bridge's arc. Optimus feels like an impotent husband and Elita a bitch wife, am I reading this wrong? Maybe the problem is me??

jimbo @jimbotron3000.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

I will not pretend I'm some kind of high profile pretentious comic reader, I'd probably not think deeply about any these last events if they happened in the span of like 10 chapters instead of like 5, take my opinion the most npc-minded reader ever
