Look everyone, it's the SEPT-TALLY!!! (been falling behind on the reviewing stuff, my bad)

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Btw, here's a "Director's Cut" which has a gag involving the two films that were next on the docket before your 30th B-Day thing was brought to my attention. MAN I wish I thought of this the other day lol.

Are we ALREADY DONE with August? That went by quick. And most of it was Looney Tunes films. I guess Th-Th-The-T-T-Th-Th-THAT'S ALL FOLKS!

So... I did something crazy today... For the first time in over a year, I actually posted something on THAT OTHER SITE: #SaveByeByeBunny #SaveScoobHolidayHaunt #SaveBatgirl

54. X-Men Season 2 (Episodes 6-9) Admittedly not the better of the two halves, as unsurprisingly changes were made around this point (to put it mildly) Despite the rushed wrap-up, I still think there were golden character moments and REALLY strong dialogue and theming, so I'll take what I can get.

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

You're getting the July Tally early 'cause I'll be out of town with family pretty soon. Actually got a bit more than usual in here...

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

51. X-Men Season 2 (Episodes 1-5) So far, it follows up Season 1 doing what it does best... Delivering an onslaught of both figurative and literal gut punches! It says a lot when a child imprisonment episode or a straight up HORROR episode are considered "Levity" for this series...

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

It's time for the June Tally! I don't often give an "S Tier" to stuff, but something I watched last month REALLY freakin' earned it this time...

44. Deltarune Ch 5 Ha Ha I like the Yellow man, he is hilar-GOOD GRIEF, Just how far are they gonna go with this bit!!?!? Anyway, it's another adventure full of wholesome. Only downside is since I played this on release day for once, that means I guess Ch 6 is gonna be more than a few months away.

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

43. TaleSpin (Turbografx-16) From the same developers as the aforementioned Darkwing Duck game and it kinda shows... It's uh... "better" I suppose...

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

42. Darkwing Duck (Turbografx-16) One of the most awkward platformers I've played in a while. Don't ask how or why I ended up plowing through this one. Granted I was able to figure out some of this game's oddball mechanics, but that can only get you so far in Darkwing Duck for the Trubografx-16.

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

40. Mickey Mania Always been a comfort game of mine. Gamefeel is SMOOTH and the levels are super satisfying to clear. Also there is no way I'm gonna have Castle of Illusion on a list of games I beat without saves and NOT also have Mickey Mania on the same list. (Good Luck with BAND CONCERT tho)

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

39. Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse Charming platformer with fancy visuals and fun level ideas/gimmicks. Only the finest for Michael Rodent. Also it recently joined my NOT LONG LIST of Genesis games I can beat as intended. (basically without the use of save states or "restore points")

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

OKAY, BUT IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, you will hear my thoughts on this episode and the others in due time...

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

37. The Amazing Digital Circus-The Last Act Well this was a massive rip-off! They just replayed episode 8 again, was that really worth the theater Hoo-Hah!?! I IMMEDIATELY left the theater, and that was a good choice! I don't regret it at all!

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

And here be our tally for MAY. Somehow still looking thin despite the year being nearly half over...

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

35. Bubsy 4D A new Bubsy Game... What could POSSIBLY go wrong? NOT MUCH APPARENTLY... This was surprisingly fun to control, surprisingly tempting to 100% levels, and even surprisingly funny at times... like UNIRONICALLY so, I'm actually laughing WITH Bubsy's Uncoolness for once instead of AT IT.

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

31. Gameoverse Pilot Congress wanted me to spot the difference between these two characters and like... They're the same character. Oh and I guess the pilot was peak and stuff, I might want to see more... www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jNk...

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

Anyway, here's the thing for Aprils... Woo...

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

28. Deep Space 9-Take Me Out to the Holosuite And @rvdinator.bsky.social closes out our April Fools marathon with a bit of levity from this franchise. Honestly I was about as on the edge of my seat over Sisko winning at baseball as I was Picard trying to outwit the evil Borg cube.

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

27. Star Trek: The Next Generation (Q Who and The Best of Both Worlds) So this is about our heroes fending off a buncha artificial intelligence drones that wants to "improve" humanity by absorbing and controlling everyone to be like them. UH... This is supposed to be FICTION, right?

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

26. Star Trek: Deep Space 9 (Duet, Waltz, & In the Pale Moonlight) Tho a VERY small sampling of what this show has to offer, the three episodes I was shown were in fact gripping, complex tales of morality that are likely to stick with me for a while.

120

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

24. Hazbin Hotel Season 2 What a mixed bag of a Season this was... Where do I begin? Vox ruled, Charlie is pushing it, the Sir Pentious thing is kind of a big plot hole, I liked the lore dumps, songs range from mid to bops("Gravity" being a highlight) Oh yeah, and Alastor is still best character.

140

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

22. Deltarune Ch 3+4 Took me long enough to get to this one... Chapter 3: Ha Ha Funny TV Man adventure. Chapter 4: Ha Ha Funny Amogus Refer-OH MY GOSH MY HEART IS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT AND I'M GONNA EXPLODE!!!!!(on more than one occasion no less...)

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

Okay so I might've been busy with other stuff in March too, but it's not like I watched NOTHING last month!

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

So lately I've been working on re-editing some of my older videos and prepping them for upload onto YouTube. This includes updating one of my previous ranking vids with a new segment. Because I'm impatient I'm giving you early access to it. Here's what I think of Steamboat Silly from Mickey Mouse:

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 30/03/2026

As a long time player of both versions, I can confirm this. What I found out with the game gear version specifically is if you time your jump when the ball is in the air, you're more likely to clear it than if you jump when it's near the ground. It basically takes a little rewiring of instincts...

15. Wake Up Dead Man-A Knives Out Mystery Okay so I'd like to revisit the prior two Knives Out films before I cover this on DeviantArt, but for now I'll say that just like the other two it's PEAK SUSPENSE. Also I appreciate the nuance given to the religious subject matter, really adds depth to it.

101

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 01/03/2026

Here's an updated tier list to account for February's viewings. Huh... Didn't I say I was gonna watch MORE movies this month? Well perhaps that'll be what March is for.

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 23/02/2026

I just realized Kanto is the only region that didn't have a starter to represent it... LET'S FIX THAT RIGHT NOWS:

000

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 23/02/2026

And finally the Paldea faves (and this doesn't cover EVERYTHING obviously):

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 23/02/2026

For no particular reason, I'm gonna go through favorites from each region (about a third to half of these are based on first impressions) Starting with Kanto faves:

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

I know we've just started this year, but I've already put together a tier list of the movies I've seen so far, and I'm probably gonna update it on a monthly basis. Even for the first month, it looks a little empty. Let me see if I can fill it up more by the end of February...

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

Oh and about that ending...

000

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

4. Danganronpa V3-Killing Harmony Gonna be hard to determine where I'd put this next to the other ones... As usual, the mysteries and trials are the highlights (and technically improved from before). As far as story and character stuff, there's some PEAK moments and some WHAT THE FREAK moments...

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 03/01/2026

New Year, means New Media Thread for 20X6!!! (I mean, it's the only time for a decade I can use this bit, so might as well)

130

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 02/01/2026

ALRIGHT, Here's my final ranking for last year... (I'll put this up on DeviantArt when I have a minute)

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 28/12/2025

86. Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Overall, I may slightly prefer the first game (mostly caus I think it's paced better), but this does have some tweaks to the formula I can appreciate. Plus a couple of the plot twists can REALLY give the OG a run for its money (that thing Nagito did, Holy FUDGE)

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 27/12/2025

Just beat the 5th trial in Danganronpa 2. Current Mood:

000

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 20/12/2025

84. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Well this was certainly a rabbit's hole of a game (I should probably wait 'till I'm done with the sequel before using that term BUT OH WELL) There were some clever plot twists and puzzle solving moments... and maybe also some unnecessary stuff but whatevs.

110

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 08/12/2025

81. DK Bananza I am VERY SALTY that the final boss killed me after repeating its last attack for minutes on end, and the moment I figure out what I'm supposed to do I get overwhelmed before I get the chance TO EVEN DO IT!!! But aside from that incident this was MAYBE worth buying the Switch 2 for.

100

JIMATION @jimation.bsky.social · 07/12/2025

Still waiting for that 3rd game lol
