I suck at math, don't sweat it. I wanted to keep your point relevant because the numbers don't really matter.

They have too much which creates unbalanced societies. Removing yourself from the common struggles of the majority of humanity through wealth does exactly that. It creates something inhumane.

Yeah this is the main take away. You could invest 2 billion of her wealth into things like education and housing programs and it would be worth so much more to so many more and she's still have a bill. As it is now, that money sitting with one person is hurting people/life more than anything else.

Think that math is a little off but I never do math so I'm not 100% confident lol. If my attempt at is correct, I think she could pay everyone in the US ~$1.75 each with the 2.8 billion left over. Still, tax um, take it all, and invest that money into society so it's worth more than 2 bucks each.

It's more like not enough Americans get that they never will work for the people and they never intended to. Destroying the country and stripping it for parts is the goal of everyone involved with this regime, from the Trumps and heritage foundation to the tech bros and foreign nations.

Yes. They look like plants from alien worlds. I like to imagine them as if they were the size of trees and I'm in a Dr Seuss story lol.

Yeah they still need some attention, but not always "watering". I started using a spray bottle in the fall and winter instead of watering them which really helped. Quick spritz in the morning to mimic dew is all they really need and it helps promote flowering in the spring as a bonus!

That's how I water my cacti basically. Forget about them and then soak them, minus the soaking part. They don't like that but thankfully I learned this before they became just a cactus. 2 remain out of the 5, root rot took the 3 from the early learning curve. I also keep them separately potted now 😅

My ma uses a bottom watering pot for her violet, she's been figuring out the best windows for them after moving further north, but thankfully more windows/options. I've been researching a lot of auto-watering techniques so the humidity made me curious, but sounds like they don't like wet feet.

Wealth inequality is distorting humanity. Taking away wealth from those who have too much is defending our lives. It is self defense, which has a very wide margin regarding moral behavior.

Would they do well with bottom watering then or is that a no no with the begon-yos?

Only thing separating the GOP back then from now is frequency of their crimes and how much effort they put into the cover up. They've been slowly playing the long game chipping away at our democracy until they felt confident enough to act on their degeneracy at will. They do not fear us enough.

Our leaders have been betraying us for a long time now. Shit keeps happening and people don't stop and put two and two together. This is just how the wealthy/elite class moves. They view the rest of humanity as pawns to be spent when something is to be gained.

Also, couldn't you kinda argue Iran-Contra was traitorous? Imo if you did, you would win that argument. That was definitely a betrayal of the American people.

Sounds like you should do more reading of thats what you want to find. Imo, you won't find much because, as I said before, white people have been in charge of writing history for Western culture over the last... Forever? Go to the library and report back 🤷‍♂️

Are you referring to something specific? I'm a little lost here on what you might mean. White people have been in charge of the US almost it's entire history. Who else would we be learning about in US history? No one else has had a chance to do their own Clint Eastwood thang.

I think it's because they hear a phrase they've been given an argument for but they're never allowed to hear the whole story. Cherry picked clips and events without context, all with organized and consistent arguments, canned and handed out to the listeners. They argue how they're programmed.

Imo stuff like this is more important than fighting for any other issue. Mechanisms for removal are really important, but so is getting money out of politics. It forces accountability by removing incentives for corruption to begin with. Fix that stuff and everything else will be much easier.

I think it's funny how we look at something like depression and think "oh yeah, that just happens to people sometimes" 🤷‍♂️, but when animals kill their young out of self preservation we recognize that their environment is not suitable to sustain life. Anyways, back to the doom scrolling I suppose.

Maybe cause it's fresh on my mind, but this comment made "banality of evil" come back to the top of it. No remorse for those who have committed a crime heinous enough, those are the orders. Society marches on, nobody questions further, nothing really changes, just punish the next one, it's easy.

Bureaucratic genocide. Looks like the fascists skipped a step. I guess they learned from Hitler it was too costly to round everyone they wanted out up into camps before killing them. That's why they switched from bullets to gas, $. This bunch is gonna turn the whole country into their death camp.

We should really have mechanisms to remove elected officials before their terms are over. 4-6 six years is a long time to be corrupt without consequence. Impeachment has been shown to be ineffective. There should be more accountability built into our systems.

Maybe when food is so expensive people can't afford it they'll figure things out. I fear with the El nino, increased input costs from fuel and fertilizer, and the uncertainty of markets, food will be unaffordable for a lot of people soon. You can live for a while without healthcare, not food.

Think that's all any of us can do. Increase our own awareness and communicate with each other our genuine thoughts and feelings about our observations. When enough people gain enough awareness then our environments will be producing less damaged people. Wish it were faster though 😅

Was at my little cousin's baseball game this weekend and he's diagnosed ADHD. Was interesting with a new perspective on RSD watching how family would laugh at him getting distracted. No malicious intent, but it was sort of an "aha!" moment because I realized what was happening.

GOP is trying to remove black history at every turn they can. DoD is removing black service members in higher ranks. DEI has been removed. Black votes are removed with gerrymandering and other fraudulent means. A synonym for remove would be erase.

We're not ruining their future, they did that themselves already. We should hold them accountable for their life altering actions, because if you don't, you're promoting these actions again in the future.

We shouldn't wait for them to give us one. We, the people, need to make our own plan without them. If the people had made a focused effort before, this would be over by now. I understand the risks involved with resisting, but I'm not sure enough realize the danger in not making a stand at all.

More than likely yes. He was chosen because his narcissism leaves him short sighted and easy to manipulate. He can be made to do anything through his greed induced insanity, even act against his own best interests, which sounds familiar, just put a red cap on it. The perfect mascot for US fascism.

Only the people can truly protect themselves within a democracy. Just as an authoritarian only has as much power as they are given by their subjects.

Great art inspires one to think about life from a different perspective imo. That is why the artist expresses through creation, to be understood in their own way. It's our evolutionary moral duty to do so, communicate authentically with each other. Why else would nature make us the way it did?

I think a lot about poverty. It's beneficial to the wealthy imo. If they are only willing to sacrifice without consequence, that is not a sacrifice at all. Their charity is a pittance, not a shared struggle. This pity is an attempt to buy our reason with conservative appeals to our emotions. My 2¢

Which is how fascist/authoritarian regimes operate. Dissent is to question their credibility. Questioning their credibility reveals it's fraudulent nature. They don't go after Kamala anymore cause she mostly has been silent from day one, she gives them no dissent to attack, her intent is trivial.

I like this one. Something I've always wondered is if it's possible to always feel joy, even when faced with suffering? Perhaps believing that you can is enough to make it so. As I gain knowledge in how life works this goal seems more possible, even if only by my definition. Is that not enough?

Humans don't speak very fluent animal, and communication breakdowns could be fatal as relatively weak and squishy meat sacks. It's a product of being mostly removed from the food chain and thus nature. We forget how to coexist with it without that experience. Lessons must be relearned sometimes. 🤷‍♂️

We are at war and we are handing our enemies our ability to defend ourselves. It's like walking across the front lines and handing the enemy your guns.

This is the line we must not let them cross. We resist at all costs, even at risk of violence. If you don't fight for your right to vote, you accept their tyranny and in turn promote it's authority. Together we can beat this, but we all must stand as one. We are more, remember that and do not fear.

I attract them like a moth to the flame. 🤷‍♂️ I made my ma uncomfortable recently when a group of boys proselytized us in a food court while their pastor (idk denomination) watched from a distance and directed their attempts. Usually "I'm atheist" is enough, but they were youthfully eager. Sorry ma!

This is the core of my misanthropy basically. Will the enslaved minds of the empathetic, moral human being ever escape their self-imposed chains of possibility? Will our heroes ever understand their everlasting struggle within themselves to avoid complete self destruction? Stay tuned to find out!
